Sagitario Menorca Mar Adults Only

So peaceful and welcoming. The staff are lovely, the facilities are clean and the restaurant is surprising good for such a small hotel. The accommodation is simple and well maintained, the gym was brand new and the pool never had more than 6 people in it! We are going back next year

This was about our seventh visit to these fabulous apartments. We just feel at home as soon as we arrive and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The pool area is so relaxing and its so nice to see no sunbed reserving at all. There are always sunbeds available anytime of the day. This year we had an apartment overlooking the pool and it was nice to be able to pop back to our little patio at anytime. The grounds of the apartments are very well looked after and the pool is always clean and contrary to a previous review, we witnessed the water being tested on a regular basis. New for this year is a gym. The restaurant serves a wide range of food and everything we had both tasted delicious and was very reasonably priced. Low key entertainment in the evening was also enjoyable whilst having a meal or a drink and this year we could enjoy it with a drink on our own patio. Menorcamar is situated in a quiet area amongst many private villas and the walk down to the Marina of Cala n Bosch is a good 15-20 minutes. There is a bus, however, practically outside the apartments which take you down in 5 mins. This bus covers a circular route and follows on to Cuitadella which is very much worth a visit. There are some lovely restaurants here and gorgeous independant shops. Its nice to put something back into the local economy so we enjoy our time in this town browsing the winding streets. Cala n Bosch itself has ample eating places as well covering most tastes. There are three supermarkets close by and we used them all. The cafe at the Eroski supermarket at the roundabout has changed hands this year and ran by one of the waitresses who worked at Menorcamar previously. We stopped by for lovely morning coffees and pastries which were very good and we can thouroughly recommend. There is a lovely coastal walk which covers part of the Cami de Caval and it is possible to walk on to Cala Blanca and Cala Santandria and from where it is easy to return by the circular bus. Menorca is a lovely island to explore and using Menorcamar as a quiet relaxing base is just perfect. We look forward to returning to this special little place.
