We actually realised that this B&B we had reserved was not located in Inverness but some 20 kms away so we were slightly dissappointed at the outset but it turned out to be a very pleasant stay in spite of the location. The landlady was very pleasant and helpful. We stayed in a large room with a living room.

After a long, tiring day and arriving on short notice when the place was supposed to be closed, I was pretty worn out with nowhere to turn. But Jess, the amazing proprietor, greeted us with the warmest smile and instantly made us feel like we’d stumbled into a home away from home . The cozy room and comfy bed gave me the rest I desperately needed. Thanks Jess

"Have made the booking for you......Please feel free to message should you need anything. Look forward to meeting you in 2024".I would have thought that was all organised, especially as there had been several emails back and forth about my disability requirements , her requirement of cash on arrival etc. So arriving at 6pm, alone, female, 76 years old, now facing no accommodation for three nights it could have been less traumatic if the woman did not yell at me, wave a paper at me and tell me I hadn't confirmed. When I asked if she could make some suggestions as to where to go , she said try the hotel down the road. The name ? You'll see it. I would recommend only booking with the place via an agent, never direct, if you really want to stay there.

The village was nice and the B&B very attractive with off street parking. Jess and Dougie were great hosts, very helpful and kind and all round good people. The accommodation was very comfy, clean & homely and the bathroom was perfect. Thank you for a lovely two night stay and tasty cooked breakfasts.

Really lovely overnight stay at this delightful b&b. Very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. Hosts were so kind & welcoming. Excellent views and walks. Hosts recommended good eating place a couple of miles away. Off road parking available.

After a long drive from the Midlands, we were welcomed and shown to our room by Jess who was very friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. Jess recommended restaurants for the evening of which the Cawdor Tavern was excellent too! The B&B was tidy and clean, especially the room, along with very comfortable beds! Dougie helped after the ride the following day with getting to Nairn, a nearby town with lots of bars and restaurants. Again, very helpful and friendly throughout! Breakfast was great along with the smooth checkout at the end of our stay. We will be returning in the future to explore such a stunning part of Scotland further!

Fantastic, friendly welcome following a long drive. The accommodation is neat, tidy and clean. Jess and Dougie went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Would definitely visit again as there is so much to explore in a beautiful part of the country

Inchrye Guest House is the ideal B&B: efficiently managed by a couple; clean and comfortable; surprisingly spacious rooms; and good breakfast. Its only drawback is that the B&B is 12 miles from the city center. However, Inchrye is located in the lovely village of Ardersier and the B&B is just a 2 minute walk to the shore of the Moray Firth. My family had a very pleasant overnight stay.

The reviews describing the woman (not Doug, he was great) as a surly old curmudgeon are accurate. The entire affair had much the feeling like she was doing you a big favour to allow you to stay. Also, after leaving something pricey behind, I kindly asked if they'd put it in the post (at my expense naturally) but they just ghosted me despite a couple of reach outs. The only unpleasant person I met on my whole trip..you guessed it.. Inchrye B&B.
