I stayed in this Resort Lotus Sutra at Arambol in Goa from 22nd July to 23rd July 24(peak monsoon but off season) for 24 hours and here is my review. The major Plus point of this Resort is, it is very close to the ocean. You can walk directly from Resort compound to Arambol beach. So u get view and lots of breeze (feels like heaven in their common garden) of the Sea in sea-facing rooms and common garden. They have made some seating spaces too in common garden.Garden has lots of greenery. So it is very romantic and feels like heaven for romance especially for those living in urban concrete jungle.Ideal atmosphere for couples. Rooms are also large with Big TV,AC,Wifi, Locker,Bed plus sofa seating etc.Clean. Minus: 1) It is not a proper concrete building but a cluster of cottages which create a great natural and romantic atmosphere. But practically, Air-Conditioning not done in common areas like Reception,Restaurant, lobby etc.Even for walking from your room to restaurant, you will need an umbrella in rain.Though some may like such natural atmosphere while others may not. 2) Food is not as good as you would expect. The restaurant is on first floor and ground floor area near staircase leading to the first floor stinks. To sum it up,it is one of ideal romantic places in its price bracket for a couple in winter/monsoon.A good break into a natural atmosphere from a concrete urban jungle.Photos attached.
