Mr. Ala’a and Miss Dua’a from the reception disk were amazing! Very gentle, helpful. Dua’a even upgraded my room after I outlined a leakage in the restroom, and after my family came they even showed a professional handling and while it was an Eid period, Mr. Ala’a even helped to service during the breakfast.

From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed with warm hospitality that sets the tone for a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable visit. The decor gives off a cozy, nautical vibe that perfectly matches Aqaba's seaside charm.

My room, though not overly spacious, was perfectly functional and exceptionally clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping everything spotless throughout my stay.

For a 3 star hotel I think it's great. The room is spacious and the bed is super comfy. Gemma is really helpful and speaks great English. There is only on-street parking if you have a hire car, but you should find a space close by. The outside pool is unheated and very cold, embrace it, it's good for you! Many times I've paid more for a room in a hostel on my current travels, I would definitely consider this hotel value for money. I haven't tried the restaurant, and I don't intend to but they have marmalade and toast at breakfast and that's good enough for me.

Recommended restaurant so we visited and took the fish platter. It came in flames for the touristy flavor but the fish was cold and tasted not well. The calimari was fluffy (?). And the shrimps were cold. It was the worst meal in Jordan and by far the worst meal in aqaba. But it was the most expensive. Go to the harbour and take one of the restaurants there where the locals eat as well

I was booked into Captain's Hotel Aqaba with Hotels.com's assistance,as a previously confirmed and fully-paid reservation at a nearby hotel was literally moved from the night I paid for TO THE NEXT NIGHT! The quality work by the Customer Service team was definitely appreciated, as they booked me into Captain's Hotel Aqaba. I was extremely pleased with my new hotel. Allah at the reception and Mohammed in the breakfast area were delightful,competent and accommodating.I definitely recommend this fine hotel. My room was clean,fresh and very comfortable. The technology was excellent and the free wifi was fantastic.I would highly recommended.

The staff here could not be better. Gemma is an absolute star. Book any trips you’d like through her at the hotel. It’s cheaper and you get good English speaking guides. We booked private tours with guides to Petra (SO worth it. We’d have missed so much otherwise) and to Wadi Rum. We couldn’t have done it without Gemma who we liaised with via email before we arrived. The rooms at Captains are a bit tired and our bathroom was…..well…..functional and clean at least! The breakfast at the hotel is worth paying for and you can get a fresh made omelette which is nice too. Alcohol is expensive at restaurants in Aqaba so best to have fresh orange juice with a meal and buy a bottle of wine from an off licence (there’s loads) and drink at hotel room afterwards. Try Tikka Chicken restaurant over the road. There’s a reason it’s always heaving with locals - best fresh food in Aqaba although Captains restaurant does a massive fish dish which should be tried too. Buy a thick, Bedouin coat (looks like shearling) from the Souk only £20 and they’ll keep You warm in your Uk house when u can’t afford any heating! Perfect for Wadi Rum too on the back of a pick up truck. Brrrr! x

عن تجربتي لفندق الكابتن الصراحة جدأ روعة الفندق نظيف جدأ وكانت اقامة رائعة وهاي تجربتي الاولى وانشالله اكررها والاكل كان جدا طيب وايضاً المسبح كان جدا حلو ونضيف واشكر الكابتن سلطان على تعامله مع الزبائن وعلى حفاظة على نضافة البركة شكرا لكم ..

بعد التجربه اكثر من ٦ زيارات لفندق الكابتن كالعاده لطافة جميع الموظفين الاكثر من رائعين .. لكن هذه الزياره اخص بالشكر الكبير ل كوتش المسبح (سلطان) صدقا هذه الزياره لفتني النظام الممتاز والنظافه في المسبح اكثر من كل المرات السابقه صدقا روعه ومتعاون وصارم في امور النظافه و المحافظه الجديه على الالتزام بقوانين السباحه ومنع انتقال اي عدوى جلديه او امراض نتيجة السباحه .... كل الشكر ل سلطان و عبد و دعاء وجميع الكادر وخاصه طاقم الفطور الرائع اكثر من جدا .... اكررها بكل حب
