Cannot fault our 2 night stay at all. Booked for my partners 40th and Mike had a bottle of fizz chilling in our fridge, what a start! Mike is a brilliant, welcoming host. From check in to check out, he couldn’t do enough for us - even got us a dinner booking when the restaurant was quite full! What a spot he has, we had the top floor suite, and views to die for. The room we had was very well equipped & the comfiest bed. The breakfast had me beat, but a great choice & start to the day. Already planning the next visit

We stayed at Appin Bay Guest House and had our wedding there. Mike was incredible and went of his way for our day to be perfect. Made us feel very welcomed and relaxed. We booked all the rooms for 2 nights and they are all very spacious, clean and great views. Loved that each room had flowers as well. Breakfast was scrumptious whether full Scottish or Asian breakfast and plentiful. This was by far the best guest house we have stayed in. A big thank you to Mike and the house keepers for a fantastic stay and wedding.

What a wonderful stay at Appin Bay View. The Eyrie room was absolutely amazing, the view is breathtaking and the room so cosy. Mike is a wonderful host, who makes you feel at ease first minute in the house. Also the breakfasts are amazing!! Would definitely come back if I have the chance, it was my best accommodation in my Scottish trip. Thanks a lot Mike for everything!!!

As Google won't let me do another review, here goes one at Trip Advisor. Best friend and I were 'repeat' guests at Mike's, with another friend this time, because we loved it here last year. Mike put us into Eyrie for pur stay. Fab room. He has again been the best host. As simple as that. Hands-on, welcoming (and yes, we got another duvet for the double bed 😁), with a wicked sense of humour and great stories to tell. We did not really want to leave. Plus, of course, rhe view. Unbeatable.

We stayed for 2 nights in July 2024. Stayed in the top floor Eyrie room. Was very spacious and loved the window seats looking out over the Bay and Castle while having morning tea or evening beer. Mike was a great host, fun and informative and offered travel advice for the area. He made incredible breakfast each morning (I had the Scottish Breakfast 1 morning and his Thai Breakfast the other morning). Great value as well IMO. I'd recommend anyone to stay here. Amazing time.

Appin Bay View is just terrific. The room was spacious, the view our into the Loch qas just stunning, and the owner, Mike, couldn't do enough for us. The area surrounding it was lovely. Breakfast was included and not small portions, thanks Mike. Lovely touches like cafetiere and coffee in the room, plus a bottle of wine. Thank you Mike for a wonderful stay, we will be back and I would thoroughly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

This was a perfect experience! Mike is the best host ever, hospitable and full of stories. The room was luxury and big. The breakfast fantastic. You could even order an asiatic breakfast! And what a view….. I can recomment this place to anyone! martin & Renée, Amsterdam

A wonderful small bed and breakfast with the most amazing view across Appin Bay and Castle Stalker. The place is on the hillside and the bedrooms and breakfast room are on the first and second floors with a balcony across the front. we stayed 3 nights for a wedding nearby and with 3 sunny days the views and hospitality of Mike, the owner made a happy visit even more enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and the room nicely appointed Breakfasts are large and there is an Asian option which we tried and enjoyed although I declined the additional hot sauce. For evening meals The Old Inn, just down the road is good.

Probably the best view and stay ever. Fabulous greeting, relaxed, unpretentious and the friendly entertaining chat from our host made it all the more memorable. Also the breakfast was brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble, also a surprise bottle for hubby on his birthday on arrival was lovely. The list goes on… bed was soo comfy fresh ground coffee in our room and as we had nowhere booked for dinner the first night our host sorted us a table at the old inn , the best steak ever! We will definitely be back x
