Stay away from this hotel! We arrived on the 14/11/22 booking the hotel through *********** the pictures looked great but the reality was worse! We had booked a double room with sea view when we checked in we found my credit card wouldn’t work which I thought was a bit strange but after several attempts and a phone call to the credit card company they confirmed my card was fine and there shouldn’t be any problem with the transactions so we instead used a debit card and proceeded to our room. The room we were given was a twin room and not the double that we booked and was filthy! We went back down to reception where the reception manager gave me key to another room we then proceeded to the second room it had a double bed as requested but the room was filthy and stunk of cigarette smoke! We then for the third time went back to reception to not only raise our concerns but to cancel the hotel stay and proceed with booking another local hotel room as soon as we asked for a refund the man was abruptly rude and all of a sudden couldn’t speak English and walked away on his phone! We waited for a short while and said we request a refund we aren’t staying here but shunned us and walked away! The next hotel needless to say accepted my credit card! Reasons being if a hotel is not what was advertised the credit card company will refund you but once you use debit card it’s impossible to get a charge back! Stay away from Bilem hotel and spa in Lara cd its cost us over £1000 for 7 day stay in Antalya
