Mango Lodge

In 20+ years of travelling we have never returned to the same accommodation twice, so it says something that this was our second stay at Mango Lodge. For us this is a perfect stay; privacy in one of the wonderful cabins on stilts, amazing views across the bay, great support from Lesley and her team when you want it and everything you could want within the cabin including a great kitchen area. As others have said, we would recommend hiring a car (Lesley can help) not just to get up the hill to Mango Lodge but because Praslin deserves exploring and a car gives you so much more flexibility. Overall the perfect accommodation for an amazing trip. Thanks Lesley.

A Magical Experience at Mango Lodge Staying at Mango Lodge was an unforgettable experience! The view is simply breathtaking – waking up among the treetops and watching the sun rise over the forest felt like a dream. The open bedroom design brought us closer to nature, and falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle was something truly special. The lodge has a charming and bohemian style, with comfortable beds and a spacious layout that offers all the amenities you could need. It’s perfect for families or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Nature is quite literally at your doorstep, creating a sense of tranquility like no other. Leslie, Sofia, and all the animals made our stay even more memorable – they were welcoming, helpful, and full of warmth. We will definitely be back! Thank You for having us! Note: A car is necessary to get here, but it’s absolutely worth the trip!

The property was amazing, and we felt confused how it was only 2 star. Firstly, the views are absolutely incredible as you can see on the photos attached. We were often waking up around 5am to see the sunrise which was really nice. The rooms are cleaned by the housekeepers every day, to a great standard. They are large rooms with so much space as you can see in the photo, we stayed in the chalet and were more than impressed with the room. They had beach towels, kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities, you can easily cook there if you wanted to. The balcony space is huge, and comes with unbelievable views. The owner Leslie is an incredible person and host, nothing is too much for her and she will go out of her way to help you and suggest things, I would suggest to anyone thinking of stopping here to reach out to her with any questions about excursions, rental cars as she will find things far cheaper than you see online, all very reputable. She helped us when we had trouble one morning and gave us a ride to the ferry terminal and refused to take cash, without her we would have missed our ferry to La Digue and we couldn’t thank her enough for this. Rental car is a must, again contact Leslie she found a car for us which was brilliant and so cheap when you’re used to European prices. Overall we loved our stay here, it’s a fabulous place to see amazing views first and last thing in the day. Close by to supermarkets and amazing takeaway spots, Leo’s food truck is a must! Should we ever return to the Seychelles we wouldn’t hesitate a second to stop here again. Thank you so much Leslie and the team!

It was a pleasure to be there and I thank Lesley for her warm welcome, help and advice. The breakfast was very good with a variety of different fresh fruits. Even though the chalet is not equipped with air conditioning - but with a fan - we did not suffer from the heat. *The only challenging thing is the road to the location:) I think that is good value for money**

Where do we begin to thank Mango Lodge, all the friendly staff especially Les and Ash for a super wonderful holiday! We went to Praslin Seychelles with big expectations celebrating double 50th birthdays! First time ever Island visit and we are so pleased to have chosen this particular stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the most pleasurable and wonderful experience and this holiday will be remembered for a very long time for sure! They even assisted me in baking my husband's favourite desert for his birthday which made it extra special! We had such a great time, marvelling most fantastic views, relaxing in a friendly and most beautiful and helpful atmosphere. We will never forget our stay at Mango Lodge. Hopefully we will be blessed to return in the near future! Thank you for all the extras Les and Ash! You made our 50th celebrations a memory for life! God bless you! We will miss our time with you! Just arrived back home from the most magical 10 days at Mango lodge. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Lesley and Ashley are two superstars and simply the best hosts one can ask for. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The views from the rooms are million dollar views. I am in love with the island and will definitely return to Mango Lodge. Thanks Lesley and Ashley for an unforgettable experience!
