Travelodge by Wyndham Angels Camp CA

Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were disappointed that even though we were in a non-smoking room as all the rooms are. The people in the room next to us smoked in the walkway in front of their door during our stay. From the looks of the property (cigarette buts everywhere) there seems to be no enforcement of smoking restrictions. The property needs a designated smoking area away from non smokers.

Hotel was clean and not far away from the places of interest.

Short stay to visit family. Hotel called to make sure we knew when the latest check-in time was which was very nice. Hotel was clean and beds comfortable.

Do recommend! Came for a short get away and was very pleased with our room. Loved the location and the cleanliness of the room. Staff was friendly as well. Will book again if needing to stay in the area.

Friendly and efficient check in. Room was clean and well appointed with clock (which is missing from a lot now a days), microwave and mini-fridge. I was only there for about 8 hours but it went well. My only negatives were the proximity to the highway (always bring earplugs) and the coffee maker was plugged into an unsuitable outlet on the base of a lamp clearly labeled for 3 amps and wouldn't work until plugged into the wall outlet. Intend to book here again in May.

Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Even though the property is suppose to be non-smoking motel the guest in the room next us smoked right outside our door. So every time we opened our door we were greeted with disgusting cigarette smoke. The grounds are littered with cigarette butts. This is just a heads up for people who are bothered by cigarette smoke. We rated the stay as poor due to this.

Did not honor the price given over the phone. Phone reservationist, front desk and housekeeping staff were all on a different page and did not honor agreements. We were unnecessarily rushed after having been given approval for a late checkout when we needed the time to coordinate and pack in order to make our business meeting.

Travelodge is more of a motel than a hotel. It was bought by Wyndham and they have upgraded it. The rooms are renovated and look good but they are still just average. I would say that Travelodge is at the lower end of the scale. The reception closes at 9pm. No water fountain, yes to ice machine (but they did give us water bottles when we asked). Outdoor swimming pool. Couple of fast food branches and a Starbucks nearby. Angels Food Market is also close by, for excellent sandwiches

I called the hotel directly to find out the cost, and informed the manager we were traveling with a dog. We were quoted $389 for 3 nights. I asked if that included everything, and was told yes. Upon arrival, we learned that the pet fee ($35/night + tax) was not included in the quote. So our room went from $130 to almost $170 per night. The room was clean, but it was nothing special and could have used repainting to cover up plaster patches in the bathroom. The worst part was being on the highway side of the motel--vehicle noise kept us from sleeping soundly. They did have a pet area behind the hotel, but our room was on the opposite (noisy) side. I asked if we could get a room on the back side, near the pet area--but they don't have any. Not a "pet friendly" hotel, and not worth the money!
