Absolutely such a great hotel to stay with good price.

We stayed in your hotel from the 16 to the 17 of November 2024, under the name of Romain Le Brelot, 2 people. The man at the reception was nice. But when we arrived inside a room it was a deception! There was a very strong smell of sewage in the bathroom: it was really dirty and impossible to stay and wash! There was also blood in the sheets. So we had to sleep without sheets. Photos of the sheets are attached. We were also very surprised because the photos didn't look like what we had! We had to leave early the next day so didn't have a chance to speak to reception. We did however call at 11am to express our dissatisfaction with the night. The receptionist told us to email here. The receptionist told us that you were used to having complaints about the cleanliness of the rooms, and that you were aware of the problems! I don't think it's honest to sell hotel rooms knowing that! We have put a sum of money down and would like to have a clean and healthy hotel. I understand that buildings can be old but cleanliness is essential. I have sent an email to the hotel one week ago and no one answered me !

In all my life, I have never seen a place so dirty and neglected, with such poor service. The nightmare began at check-in, where there should have been a staff member waiting, but there was no one. There was no doorbell, no bell, no way to get someone's attention. The phone was also not answered. When a staff member finally showed up, he was completely rude and had no interest in helping or solving any problems. The hotel had several signs warning about the smoking ban, with a fine of 250 euros. So far, so good. However, when we arrived at our room, we were greeted by an unbearable smell of cigarettes, which made it impossible to stay or sleep there. On the balcony, more than 50 cigarette butts were scattered around. We went down to reception again and, once again, the staff member was not there. We had to call out loud for someone to come. When he arrived, instead of solving the problem, he tried to refute our criticisms, turning the situation around, as if we were the ones to blame. It was, without a doubt, the worst experience of my life. It ruined our day and the trip. And even if they made a mistake, they don't admit it. There's no way they'll give you your money back, it's practically a robbery.

Excellent and Very pleasant stay. I spent 2 nights, between 23 and 25 of july 2024. Rooms were very clean and modern. The staff was really helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel is great and close to everything. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything! Regards.

The hotel is fine, relatively basic but we didn’t have any hygiene issues. However both of us tried to have showers at 8:30 and there was no hot water, as a hotel charging over £100 I think this is the bare minimum that should be offered. We booked this trip last minute, we would not have chosen this place if we had a choice. If you want a warm shower do not stay here!

Really nice place, good location and friendly staf. I felt safe as a solo traveller, and room was tidy, quiet and clean. One minus from the stairs: there is no elevator and it’s hard to curry big heavy bags up to 3th or 4th floor because the staircase was really small and steep.

Good value for money in a peaceful, lovely area near the Vondelpark & about 15 mins lovely walk to Rijksmuseum but with the option of a tram stop outside. The bedroom was clean, quiet with big windows looking out onto an attractive street. We had a comfy bed with good quality sheets. There were tea making facilities. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially during breakfast. Breakfast was very good value and the room lovely. The stairs were narrow going up to our floor, so could imagine might be difficult for some, but luckily we were ok, and my understanding is that this is the nature of many buildings in Amsterdam, being tall and thin. The weakest part was the temperature of the shower, despite being hot in the evening, it was cold in the later morning (we showered after breakfast so maybe all the hot water had run out). We generally had a great experience and would be happy staying here again.

Room was spacious and clean, however it was extremely hot, no AC. They did give us a tiny plug in fan on request. Some of the front desk staff was not very helpful. Upon check in we were told we could only pay the city tax in cash which we did not have. The next day someone told us we could pay by card for a 6% fee. After that we were told only cash again. Very inconsistent. I asked to use a phone as the one in our room didn’t work and she told me I was not allowed. I threw some food wrappers away in the common area trash can and was told that we are not supposed to use that one. Overall it was ok but would probably not stay here again.

We stayed for 5 nights in a small couples room and while we didn't expect a lot due to the price, it was definitely not what we expected. The stairs are very steep and narrow making it hard to go up and down them, if you have any luggage bigger than a hand-held one you will find it difficult to maneuver them on it. Would have appreciated the offer to help us take it up to our room which was on the THIRD floor. The bathroom was okay however the toilet is more suitable for a child or slim built person, I had to sit rather uncomfortably every time I needed to go - which includes sitting sideways as there is barely any space in front of the toilet. The bed was comfortable, on the small side but decent. There was also a random a hole in the floor at the foot of the bed that made it uneasy to walk over due to the feeling of it feeling like it would cave under you. House-keeping was good when they don't randomly walk in. One morning we had a house keeper walk in without knocking 3 separate times. There is no tag to let them know we are in the room and did not require their assistance. I had a friend check-in and stay a couple nights in while we there and they were given a fairly larger room/bathroom on the bottom floor right across from the reception - the check in lady told us to "Not be jealous" when we told her what room we were in. She herself knew our room (20) was not in a great location. Lastly, the paper thin walls often woke us up hearing our neighbor, we could literally hear their phone vibrating. I do not recommend if you are looking for comfort after a long day of activities as those stairs are killer to climb. The street in front of the hotel is completely under construction too so don't expect to be able to be dropped off in front of it either.

After staying in a different property close by that ended up being an all-around disaster, so much so that we decided to move hotels midway through - walking into the Aadam Hotel Wilhelmina was like a breath of fresh air. We were warmly welcomed when dropping our bags off and when told about our experience in the other hotel, staff were very sympathetic and gave us a beautiful and spatious room here. Disaster struck again for us realising a passport had gone missing, the staff helped us look for it and when it couldn't be found, gave us some information about how to get to our embassy, where we could file a police report and get photos taken for the replacement documents and comped us breakfast for our stress. The front of house was so warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay here. Highly recommend. Will definitely come to stay again (once I get a new passport!)

È pessimo da evitare puzza di fogna sporco e non puliscono non è come in foto mi hanno dato una camera con letto sfondato la tv non funzionante box doccia arrugginito è a rischio sanitario. Il bagno è freddo non so come fanno ad essere aperti. Ho documentato tutti i problemi del mio soggiorno in posto

Nous avons séjourné dans votre hôtel du mi-novembre 2024. L'homme à l'accueil était sympa. Mais quand nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre c'était la déception ! Il y avait une très forte odeur d'égout dans la salle de bain : c'était vraiment sale et impossible de rester pour se laver ! Il y avait aussi du sang dans les draps. Nous avons donc dû dormir sans draps. Des photos des draps sont jointes. Nous avons dû partir tôt le lendemain et n'avons donc pas eu l'occasion de parler à la réception. Nous avons néanmoins appelé à 11 heures pour exprimer notre mécontentement concernant la nuit. Le réceptionniste nous a dit que vous étiez habitué à avoir des plaintes concernant la propreté des chambres, et que vous étiez conscient des problèmes ! Je ne pense pas que ce soit honnête de vendre des chambres d'hôtel en sachant cela. Nous avons déposé une somme d'argent et souhaitons avoir un hôtel propre et sain. Je comprends que les bâtiments peuvent être vieux mais la propreté est essentielle. J’ai envoyé un e-mail il y a 1 mois à l’hôtel qui ne m’a jamais répondu. Je déconseille.

Servizio di pulizia pessimo puliscono ogni 2 gg. Acqua della doccia fredda. Ma ciliegina sulla torta alla mia partenza mi trovo scalati € 100 dal conto, in primo luogo mi dicono che mi saranno resistituiti ed è solo una formalità che vengano presi. Insisto dicendogli che sono stati realmente presi e non solo per formalità, la loro giustificazione è stata la seguente. Sono state trovate feci nel piatto doccia e abbiamo dovuto effettuare una pulizia speciale. Ma manco i ragazzi di 15 anni fanno uno schifo del genere. Da premettere che alla richiesta di una prova mai vi è stata. Non so come fate a vivere in una città come AMSTERDAM dove il senso civico è alla base della loro cultura. TRUFFATORI - LADRI - BUGIARDI
