How this hotel can get 4 stars is beyond me! At the very best the hotel is no more than 2.5. The rooms are small, the shower is tiny & a larger person would struggle to get in. There is a lot of noise from the adjacent roads & unbelievably the rooms have not been modernised with USB points. Having said all of the above here comes the positive!!!! Very convenient for the Square & for the main shopping areas. The Red light district is only a few minutes away & it is a short walk from the boat station to see Amsterdam by the river. FINALLY, the STAFF try very hard to help & in our experience HOUSAIN is OUTSTANDING!!!! Nothing is a problem for him, he is helpful, does everything with a smile & goes well beyond the call of duty. THANK YOU HOUSAIN, I hope your employers appreciate what you do for your guests.

The hotel is located just off Dam Square and is close to the Royal Palace. The hotel can be reached in approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the main rail station (Amsterdam Centraal) or via one of the many trams which pass close to this location. My room was on the 2nd floor and was furnished to a good standard, although I would have appreciated a mini-fridge. The room was clean and I had no issues with noise and slept well. My booking included breakfast which was also of a good standard complete with cereals, breads tee/coffee/juice and the obligatory cold meat buffet, which is common in many European destinations. In summary, a well-run hotel with friendly staff, which I would highly recommend to leisure travellers. In particular, a special mention for Evangelina on reception, who was very helpful to me during my visit.

Stayed here for three days on a mini break. About 10-12 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central station, the hotel is a former distillery located down a side street - no options for parking. We had ground floor rooms but frosted lower window panes so no provacy issues. Roomes were warm and well-ventilated - beds were VERY comfortable. Nice shower (no bath) the toilet was ratyher cramped in the corner. Booked breakfast every day, standard continental breakfast fayre and plenty of choice for it. Located just off Dam Sqaure, would certainly use again if visiting Amsterdam.

The hotel is located in the center of Dams Square within walking distance of the trains and many attractions. The hotel rooms are well appointed with everything guests need for a comfortable stay. The hotel offers fresh water with bottles that guests can fill and bring to their rooms. There is fresh coffee and a bar in the lobby too. We enjoyed this hotel!

Nice and clean, good beds and pillows, ac worked fine. Small and cozy hotell in a very charming place. Waterboiler with coffee in the rooms, and you may fill up a big bottle of either still or sparkling water to your room at front desk.Good breakfast. Second time we stayed and will come back for sure. Situated very central, additional to a foodstore close by there is an Italian restaurant and a coffee shop for small meals and homebaked pastry, opposite the hotel entrance.

This is a great location. The property was clean, the staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The room and bathroom were a good size. The breakfast was OK but nothing special. Be aware that this property is on a pedestrian street but it is very close a thoroughfare.

We visited for two separate nights, one day before our cruise and one day after. Great location and we had a good time in Amsterdam. Not far from the train station and to all the attractions. Dam square and the shopping and dining streets just a corner away. Big double rooms with spacious ensuite bathroom. Good breakfast with quality coffee, sweet pastries, bread of different types and crunchy, fresh juices, cheese, ham, spreads and hot boiled eggs, gets you started. Nice staff, and space for luggage since we arrived before noon, check-in at 14:00.

Exceeded my expectations. We had a twin/double room on the third floor. Room was perfect for my husband and I. I think the hotel just went through a renovation as everything was new. The breakfast buffet was more than enough....fresh cheeses, meats, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereals, granola, yogurt, juices etc. It's a very busy area outside the hotel but we did not hear anything from the street. We walked from Central Station to the hotel which literally was 10 min with our bags. So easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located in the heart of city centre and at a very convenient distance (2 mins walk) from bus station. Quite happening street with ongoing activities at the Dam Square. Lots of shopping and food options available around the hotel. Most of the famous spots were walkable from the hotel. The room was quite small but all the basic amenities were provided. Coffee and drinking water was available 24*7 at the reception. Breakfast was good. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.
