This place is FABULOUS!!!! It has so much charm and history. Although it’s a hot spot for weddings, it’s so much more. We found it while looking for the perfect place for filming. The staff is kind, and is very helpful when trying to find local spots to check out. The property and house are perfect for photoshoots. I slept better in the rose room than I do in my own bed. No need to eat out of a to go box, since they have a chef who can prepare yummy food for you. I will be back for sure!

I took my mama for the Mother’s Day Brunch which was a special event hosted by the plantation. The house is beautiful filled with rare antiques and touches of a time back when. Each room had a special flare to it. The setting for brunch was buffet style Each place setting on the tables consisted of different china patterns from the Kennedy family with crisp liens and floral arrangements. The food was fabulous & great tasting with a nice variety. Mimosas were served along with ( of course) sweet tea. Bread pudding and coffee finished the meal for dessert. We will definitely be back.

We were here for a wedding and it was beautiful! Hope and the ladies were awesome to work with. We definitely recommend Blythewood Event Center. Best staff ever and a gorgeous home!!!! If you are looking to book for a wedding please contact Blythewood!!!!!!

This was not what we expected. The room appeared unclean - dead bugs and did not appear to have fresh sheets. The room only had a window unit and rest of home was warm and humid. There is no shower - only a tub. We left and stayed at a different hotel. Do your research on amenities.

The night before I came to Blythewood was spend at an air BnB with animals crawling in the walls. What bliss to arrive here to Ellen's hospitality and a grand room! One of the other staff members had made a pot roast, and they offered that to me for dinner so I didn't have to go foraging after my long drive. Yum! The coffee pot was ready for me to push start when I got up early, and later I was treated to a delicious full breakfast. My only regret about my stay was that it was too short. This is truly a lovely place with wonderful staff.
