TRAVELODGE AMESBURY STONEHENGE

During my recent stay here it was nice to be greeted by such friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were clean and love the beds as very comfy and able to stretch out in, shame can not have one at home. Also very conveniently located for access to road links and only a short walk into Amesbury. If you need a place when travelling would highly recommend this hotel

Stopped here for a night while visiting family. Found the room to look nice after its recent refit. The bed was super comfy and had a great night’s sleep. Found all the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with to be polite and helpful. Amesbury which is a lovely town is just a short walk away

I stayed whilst visiting family in the area which I do often, as always the staff were friendly,smooth check in by Ryan and bedroom were clean and spacious. All the staff are really friendly and there is plenty of parking. Handy to have the cafes next door too.

Clean rooms and great helpful staff that can help with your needs also great public trail acess less than 10 min walking distance

Stopped here on way to and way back from holiday in Cornwall in order to break the journey. Being a Travelodge my expectations of the accommodation were very modest but given that it was listed on Travelodge’s website as a “new look Travelodge with next generation rooms” I was very underwhelmed. Whoever the company is using for the design of their next generation rooms should be sacked as there is no detectable difference from the very basic decor for which Travelodge has been known since it began trading in the UK around 40 years ago. There is no aircon and room fittings especially in the bathroom are generally very low budget. Security seems a bit OTT and leaves you with the feeling that you are going in and out of a secure mental health unit. The environment around the Amesbury Stonehenge Travelodge known as Countess Services is tatty and scruffy bringing down the overall feel of the place. This is probably down in part to the time until 2024 when the site was operated by EG Group whose sites in general (in my experience of many stops over many business miles) seem to have a neglected feel. Service at least was attentive and friendly so that’s a plus but if you are considering a stopover here when visiting Stonehenge, or for another reason, I would recommend finding somewhere else in the area if you possibly can.

Staff at this Travelodge are AMAZING!! So welcoming and I had a problem with my booking and they were so incredibly helpful going above and beyond. Will definitely come back here again when working in the area.
