Belizean Cove Estates Luxury Beachfront Villa

Villa Sol Mate is the perfect oceanfront rental! The resort is beautiful and right on the beach with a pier. It is quiet and felt secluded. The resort staff greeted us upon arrival and answered all our questions while taking our luggage to the unit. The rental is located on the second floor and tastefully decorated with local art and comfortable furniture. The chairs and couch were perfect for coffee and chatting in the mornings. The balcony has lots of comfortable seating that overlooks the pool and ocean. The unit is spacious and well cared for. It was very clean with crisp white sheets and bedding. The bed was the most comfortable bed and I slept amazing every night. Each room had overhead fans and great pillows. You can control the air conditioner in each bedroom too. The 3 bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels were provided and were clean and plush. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. We did not cook but staff provided the name for a private chef that we used. The meal was amazing and the chef provided all the food and clean up. The resort did not disappoint in any way! The staff was friendly and helped with everything needed. They provide bikes and adjusted seats for our ride to get breakfast. There are lots of close food options a short golf cart or bike ride away. They provide kayaks and fitted us with life jackets and helped get the kayaks. There was also fishing available. Make sure to take advantage of the kayaks and explore the water and the reef area. We could see fish and sting rays through the crystal clear water. The kayak was my favorite part of the trip! There was plenty to do on the island. Secret beach can’t be missed and a short golf cart ride. Caye Caulker is a 20 minute ferry ride and was a fun day excursion to swim with the sting rays and feed them. There were great restaurants and a place at “The Split” to jump from a high platform. Only bad part was having to leave! My photos do not have filters, it is really that beautiful! I can’t wait to take my family back and show them after my trip with my friends. The Villa Sol Mate at Belizean Cove Estates is a hidden gem! It is nestled back in a beautiful private area of San Pedro Island. There are eight villas, all overlooking a cluster of pools with plenty of chairs to relax on and a gorgeous view of the ocean. There is a dock at the resort with kayaks and a convenient place to be picked up on a boat for any water excursions you might do. We thoroughly enjoyed the full-day catamaran tour where we snorkeled & swam with sharks. The guys in our group also did a fishing excursion where they brought back some lobster that we had cooked at the Belizean Cove’s sister resort’s (CoCo Beach) restaurant - that dinner was phenomenal. We also enjoyed Carambas for dinner which was more in town, Rum Dogs for lunch, and also our morning coffee at Farmhouse Coffee Shop. The Truck Stop is a fun place for evening entertainment - live music - with food trucks. You will want to make sure to rent a golf cart as nothing is really withing walking distance, but the resort can help facilitate that. Everyone in Belize is so nice, friendly, & helpful, and the staff at this resort kept our villa clean & stocked with fresh towels daily as well as helped us with all our transportation & activity planning. The ladies in the group had a massage service set up right in the comfort of our villa - it was all planned through the concierge at the resort. Highly recommend a trip to Belize and staying here at the Villa Sol Mate at Belizean Cove Estates!

We had such a wonderful time! The Villa was beautiful! Spacious, beautifully decorated, comfy beds and a lovely patio overlooking the pool and out to the ocean. Staff was very friendly and so accommodating. Housekeeping visited our Villa daily. What a pleasure to return to a perfectly made bed and fresh towels in the bath. Our 6 seater golf cart (everyone in San Pedro drives a golf cart!) allowed us to be only minutes away from delicious eateries like The Truck Stop, Marbucks and The Farmhouse. A 30 minute jaunt took us to the beautiful Secret Beach! Here you can wade into the clear waters and be served your favorite food and drink! Look down from your picnic table and you may see some colorful fish scurry by your toes. San Pedro is a charming place to visit and the waters offer splendid snorkeling and diving. We had a fabulous vacation and were so glad we chose to stay at the Villa Sol Mate.
