Tigh Na Leigh

Stayed here on a recent cycle tour, the owners Graham and Karen have certainly got this nailed! Exceptional property, great breakfast, this place is an object lesson in how to run a hotel/b&b. Thoroughly recommend that if you’re looking for a special place to stay in Alyth, then this is it.

Gorgeous guest house. Welcomed on arrival and given a tour. They have an amazing garden!! Somewhere you could finish your day in, with a fire pit, paths to walk through the garden. Very clean and the decor is fantastic. Each room is different and decorated to a high standard. We stayed in room 3. We had our own living area that lead to our bedroom and new walk in shower bathroom that had a drench shower. Amazing!!! I didn't want to get out of the shower. Towels, tea and coffee and water provided. You access to the rooms downstairs and the garden. Can come and go as you please. You can have food there also. We had breakfast in the morning. Included in price. It was amazing!. They provided home grown produce and homemade produce. The granola was delicious. We also have fresh coffee and a Scottish breakfast that includes eggs from their own chickens. Oh and homemade rhubard jam yum!!! I can't fault this guesthouse at all. Graeme and Karen were lovely. Karen does the cooking and she's a credit to the guest house. Graeme was brilliant. Telling us and others their about places to see nearby. He suggested to us about a waterfall nearby. We went there before heading home. Very happy we did. They are approachable, friendly and very helpful. We will stay here again and I would highly recommend others to do so also. Great amenities nearby also. Shops, pub and a great chippy!. We walked around the area after dinner and it was lovely.

This lovely, exquisitely styled B&B is a must if you are in the area. They will also do evening meals by arrangement. (One of the best meals we had on our two week tour of Scotland ) . Such a lovely experience we had staying here. Every part of this place has had thought to detail with heart and soul. Thank you Karen and Graham .

Tigh Na Leigh is set in a great location in the beautiful small town of Alyth. Everything in town is easily accessible from your lodging. Set in a beautiful region of Scotland with great wildlife nearby, I myself went out nearby and viewed both wild Pine Marten and a family of Beavers. The owners are wonderfully attentive, and they add to the charm of the experience, and can give wonderful recommendations on everything in the region. The garden of Tigh Na Leigh is truly incredible, a true wonderland. A hedgehog even appeared in the garden the night we arrived. The breakfast was incredible, and it was prepared with local ingredients by the host. You have access to a self-serve full bar in a cozy common room. Quality private parking for your car. The entire place was beautifully themed, with a unique decor that was a tasteful mix of old and new. Our room was beautiful and spacious, again with fantastic theming, and an overall cozy feeling. The jetted tub was great to relax in after a long day of driving and exploring. Our room had a huge comfy bed. The whole place has an incredible atmosphere. Wish I had more time there and hope to return soon. I cannot recommend enough.

I stayed here for 1 night for work. Graham and Karen are amazing hosts, noting too much trouble. Karen is a fantastic cook who makes her own bread and served me amazing rack of lamb. Graham did well to show her how to plate 🤣 a wee joke. Room was stunning, with contemporary and traditional style. Bed was very comfy and the bathroom recently refurbished was perfect. I even sent my husband a link to the website and hopefully planning a weekend away to stay. Unfortunately I didn't manage to try breakfast but I definitely will next time. Thank you both

Stayed one night on a lay over. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. The decor and service is excellent. There was a guided tour of the establishment on arrival. Something very welcomed as the place is a design masterpiece. The rooms are lovely. The food exceptional. We had a lovely three course meal with beautiful wine. Priced perfectly. We will be back. When we arrived we were welcomed by our host who showed us around the Guest House, where we would have breakfast and where drinks were served should we want it. Our room was smartly and stylishly decorated, newly renovated and clean. We got good recommendations for our evening meal, which was delicious. A wonderful night's sleep. The breakfast was served with a view of their garden. Everything, from the ambiance, the coffee, fruit, French toast and full Scottish Breakfast was superb! A lovely stroll in said garden afterwards. Upon departure we received three options for routes to Edinburgh depending on which way we wanted to go. We had no prior plans and the one we chose was perfect! All recommendations were spot on, and the explanations and care he took giving us them was very kind. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed for four nights at Tigh na Leigh guest house in Alyth. Our hosts, Graham and Karen, made us very welcome and we had an exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable visit. The bedroom was both spacious and cosy – beautifully furnished and decorated – with a lovely view over the pretty garden. The ensuite was extremely well appointed. The whole house is tastefully presented with attractive colour schemes and furnishings throughout. Breakfast is prepared to order every morning from a menu offering a wide range of delicious dishes hot and cold. We particularly recommend the home-made granola and the tasty ‘full Scottish’. Graham has a superb knowledge of the tourist attractions, beauty spots and lesser known, hidden treasures of the district and beyond. We particularly appreciated his helpfulness when we were planning our trips each day, as he was able to provide all the information we needed and to suggest places to eat and to visit that we might not otherwise have thought of. He also provided useful maps with routes clearly marked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are delighted to recommend Tigh na Leigh most highly. Definitely one of the best guest houses we have ever had the pleasure of staying in.

Lovely stay in Perthshire's hidden gem. Beautiful house, well-appointed rooms, friendly owners, wonderful garden, an excellent breakfast and evening meal (small but well chosen wine list) - cannot recommend enough. Enjoyed chatting with the other guests in the relaxed atmosphere of the bar room - some fine whiskies available.
