I stayed at the hotel during a business visit on 2/12/2017. We were totally three people, I would like to share our bad experience from the hotel staff and ClearTrip travel agents. We were lured by the view of hotel from outside, besides Aluva Bridge and just opposite to Aluva metro station. We decided to stay there since we have to attend one seminar at CIAL auditorium, Cohin airport. I booked the hotel from ClearTrip app and we went straight to the hotel. I showed the conformation voucher to the receptionist, he rudely told us that rooms are not available. He further added that he did not gave room to Cleartrip, So I contacted cleartrip, but they also not helping me either. Later I understood that the rooms in the next category called "Periyar suit" is available, since it is late at night we decided to take the room directly by paying cash. We lost valuable 2hrs during the process. Some times later the receptionist came to our room with a polite smile, by the time the Cleartrip contacted him, he was totally different person pretending very helpful. This is the first part of the story. Second part is the room, highest in class lack of basic cleanliness. Lot of cigarette sticks and covers at the balcony,old and leaking bathroom fittings, bath towel provided with big holes, lot of mosquitoes and lack of basic cleaning everywhere. The breakfast spread was very minimal. The only positive side is the location of the hotel. We felt like stayed in a 1500 rupee room.(Pls refer the rate “periyar suit”, which is 4100 for 3 people). My opinion is to avoid this hotel, it is not worth what we pay. Finally at check out the ClearTrip people paid the upgraded bill (Rs-300 to 400 more), that they could have done at the beginning itself. I lost my patients by fighting with hotel guys and cleartrip. At last both of them accepted my stand. Anyways it’s a stay to forget.
