Awful experience at the hotel which had initially been presented in a very different aspect from the pictures on *********** Very deceiving, during the booking process I had initially selected a DOUBLE ROOM with a LARGE DOUBLE BED which was given as an option. Upon arrival we were greeted by a RING doorbell and a non working reception, with a very unpleasant checking in process. After ringing the door bell multiple times I received a call from the receptionist/hotel manager to give me instructions on how to check into the room. Shortly after realising what we had signed up for and observing the room which looked nothing like the pictures shown. The room was practically a workers paradise as the entire hotel was filled with local workers who only require single beds for a night’s rest. The unprofessional hotel manager/ receptionist who did not speak English was very unhelpful as I had travelled with a pregnant woman and a 1 year old infant who absolutely required a double bed for the night. We were given no other choice but 2 single beds joined together with single bed sheets. Upon starting a massive debate over this we were not given any other choice and being unable to cancel the booking as we were going to be charged the entire stay regardless. No attempt to resolve the issue and have any sympathy or understanding towards us made me very uncomfortable and frankly I was fuming the ignorance from this female individual presenting herself as a hotel manager without any customer service approach was something I do not wish upon anyone. After requesting to be provided with a double bed for the night this was denied as apparently the entire hotel was full to the brim. The other thing I requested was for a double bed sheet to be put on both single beds to make it a little bit more comfortable for my 1 year old son to sleep in between us, this was also denied by telling me there was a shortage of bed sheets there was no double sized sheets available. At that point I wasn’t too concerned if I would get a double bed but wanted my 1 year old to sleep ok so we asked for a baby cot which was also not provided, instead we was told it would cost 14€ in addition to the 86€ already overpaid for the room which was absolutely pathetic. The individual presenting themselves as a hotel manager did not speak English instead she had her 13 yr old son translate whilst she was on the phone. Then she asked for a caretaker to zip tie the 2 single beds together so they do not move, however the mattresses would still move which I thought was completely ridiculous. The wifi did not work properly as when asked for the actual password my message was ignored. To summarise the entire shocking experience I do not wish for anyone to experience the same thing. I’ve stayed at 100’s of hotels worldwide and some have had some disadvantages but this one by far is the worse experienced. Please find an alternative hotel don’t waste your money and nerves on this one.
