Marpunta Resort, Santikos Collection

Thanks to the wonderful staff and there managers Lazarus and Costas who’ve made our stay and our wedding an unforgettable experience for us, our family and guests! We will definitely from now on be regular guests at this wonderful place. The two beaches and the wonderful pool at the side are amazing places to relax and enjoy the drinks and the delicious food.

The location was stunning, with direct access to two beautiful beaches and a well-kept pool surrounded by clean, white architecture. The rooms and shared spaces were always spotless and maintained to a high standard. The food was fresh and varied every day. There were always plenty of fruit options and different dishes to try, and as someone with Coeliac disease and a lactose intolerance, I was really impressed. I didn’t have any issues, and the staff made sure my dietary needs were taken care of without fuss. Drinks options at both the pool bar and sunset bar were exceptional with branded spirits and a variety of cocktails, juices, coffees and soft drinks. The staff were the true highlight of our trip. They were consistently friendly, hardworking, and easy to talk to but always maintained professionalism - even in the heat, they always had a smile and time for a chat. They all had so much character and we genuinely enjoyed getting to know them, they made our trip! We actually got engaged in the old town. Giasemi from the restaurant helped my partner plan the perfect proposal spot, and the reception we received when we returned from the chefs, waiting staff, bar staff and pool team was incredible! We’ve never been around so much love, happiness and warmth, they made the experience so special, and we’ll never forget that.

Wonderful hotel with breathtaking views and exceptional service. The entire staff was warm and welcoming. Lazaros, the head chef, and all the waiters were amazing, so helpful and kind. The hotel manager was very kind and attentive! We highly recommend and definitely hope to come back again soon!

Stunning hotel absolutely beautiful scenary with beautiful beaches and pool area was lovely too. Staff are amazing very welcoming whoever you speak to. Food is like no other all inclusive resort we have been to it’s very a la carte not a huge choice for children especially if the fussy eaters. Unfortunately the kanoes etc were not available when we stayed which was disappointing because there wasn’t a lot for children to and we was planning on trips to mamma Mia filming locations but didn’t realise you have to get a boat back to Skiathos to get a boat to the locations and then back. The boat crossing to hotel was lovely the boat crossing back was absolutely vile never been on a boat trip like it and first thing in the morning to it was so rough 🤢 staff on the boat was very nice though.

Thank you Marpounta for a great two weeks . The location is stunning the food and drinks great. All this topped off by wonderful and helpful staff. Special shoutout to the restaurant manager who always seems to be on duty. As to the comment about no breakfast on last day we left at 5.45 am coffee and orange juice available and the chef gave us a bag with sandwiches and cake for our onward journey no complaints from us.

I stayed at Marpunta for May half term week with two children (age 9 & 13). I didn’t realise that you had to take a ferry to get there. Which makes it an exceptionally long trip if you have children. The reception staff were not very friendly, but there was one person called Lazaros who really made our stay amazing. Lazaros makes this place worth a visit!! He greeted us each day with a fantastic welcoming grin and could not do enough for us. He only worked in the restaurant areas and he was there at every meal time. The staff in the restaurant were also friendly. The resort was very clean and we felt incredibly safe on the Island. We went snorkelling and to the old town, which you really need to visit. The food and drinks are genuine. They don’t serve good quality wines and drinks and the food was very fresh and always great. If you are into deserts. Then you will love it. On the morning that we left (Friday 30th May) at 6:30 am. The man at reception was so rude, he greeted us as soon as we entered the reception by asking us to pay a hotel tax that we had already paid. We had pre-ordered an early breakfast and they gave us biscuits. It was a very disappointing end to a fantastic trip. Just note that you are not offered a breakfast on your last day. They lay out a few biscuits. They need to retrain their reception staff as they really let their resort down.
