Hotel Boutique Calas de Alicante

Very clean, welcoming and in the perfect location. Situated in a quite area away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Would definitely recommend as is walking distance from the beach and the perfect view to enjoy the sunset. Breakfast was great with a good choice of food. Only thing I would change is to have tea and coffee to make hot drink in room and not just the kettle and cups.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it does not disappoint! The hotel is immaculate and has all the facilities you need. My parents requested a kettle, and it was brought out with a selection of t-bags within seconds. Breakfast was as fantastic as I remembered it, with a great selection to choose from. Despite the very wet and windy weather we had a fantastic stay, making use of the local restaurants (the hotel arranged a taxi on one very wet night), and the local buses. Alicante is a short bus ride away, or if you want to venture further afield, the trams are also excellent! We would return!

They just cancelled my booking 2 days before checking in, despite I‘ve booked it and PAID few months ago! They call it „sorry overbooking“. How come?! How is it even possible! Don’t recommend relying on the hotel definitely! -------------

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast buffet is all you could ask for. You will need a car to get around though. There’s plenty of free parking by the hotel. A short drive away is the brilliant beach at playa de san juan

Great hotel overall. We went on a half board, both the breakfast and dinner were great with plenty of options. The hotel is clean and maintained very well. The location is perfect for walking to a nearby beach or close bus stations for trips to the city centre or other beaches. The hotel is fairly quiet but the rooms facing the main road will be a bit noisier but not to a level that you cannot sleep. The AC in the room is quiet and does a very good job. The rooms are modern and clean. The shower is amazing! The staff were all friendly and there was an understandable language barrier but we were not bothered by that. During our stay, there were more Spanish people so the language barrier is understandable. We mostly went to San Juan beach. It is an enormous beach with plenty of space. Even though we went in July, the beach was not busy/full to the point it became claustrophobic like other beaches. You can rent out beach chairs and beach chairs with umbrellas at a reasonable cost. It is cheaper if you buy for 7+ days. The buses are often, clean and air-conditioned. If you pay in the bus cash or card, the cost is €1.50 per person regardless of your stop. There are bus passes you can buy where the cost is, I think, €8.90 for 10 trips. If we ever come back to Alicante, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Extremely clean and peaceful hotel with a lovely pool . Pool area washed down every morning and also the water was tested at same time . Room perfectly comfortable, no noise from outside . And of course the staff all polite and helpful. Also provided with a ‘call button’ for staff to get drinks 🥂.Thanks for a relaxing stay .
