Hotel Angedras

Excellent hotel. No Pool so no kids. Nice and quiet. Great staff. Rooms good. Location good. Gave us umbrella and towels for beach. Free parking on the street. Walked to old town.. about a 1 km walk. We walked along the waterfront. Beautiful views of the old town from the walk.

Comfortable and clean hotel situated about 10/15 mins walk from the town centre. Decent room size with balcony and lovely views overlooking resedential area and towards mountains. Generous breakast on a pleasant terrace. Very pleasant staff. This was a return visit.....

This quiet and comfortable hotel is a marvellous base for Alghero. There is parking in the hotel and plenty of free street parking in the area. It's a 10 minute walk to the Old Town, which is just about right to work up an appetite on the way to, or relax on the way back from, one of the marvellous restaurants. There are also closer restaurants, including the excellent Piccalo Cucina. The staff in the Angedras are wonderfully helpful and friendly. The people on the front desk all spoke good English, as well as many other languages. Marina in particular was wonderfully helpful to us. She spent about 15 minutes finding and booking us a restaurant on a Saturday night, and also one for the Sunday night, after our attempts had failed. She asked us what sort of restaurant we liked, and both the places she recommended and booked were good and exactly fitted her description. In the process she tried multiple other restuarants that were fully booked but she refused to give up until she had found us somewhere to eat that would suit us. That was real service, and all done with a smile and passion for getting it right!

Clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet residential area; rooms are simple but a good base for exploringthe area. The reception team were brilliant in helping us find an emergency dentist- really excellent service. Breakfast was good - the only downside was the slow coffee machine which couldn't cope with the volume of people at peak times.

A very pleasant hotel near the Lungomare in a quiet residential area. The rooms are furnished simply but contain everything needed, including a comfy bed, minibar and air conditioning. The showers are a bit small but work fine; everything was impeccably clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful; we had a great time!

Great location for walking to the old town, beach and restaurants. No pool but we did know this when booking. Room very clean. Disappointed no tea/coffee making facilities in the room as it's nice to relax on the balcony with a cuppa, but you can buy drinks at the small bar in the reception. Fridge in the room. We enjoyed the breakfasts with plenty of choice. Staff very friendly although I think we maybe arrived as one was ending her shift as she was quite brusque with us and she also forgot to give us our safe key so we had to come down again in the lift and the lady then on reception was superb and after that they were all lovely. The safe is extremely small. Parking in the street. Apparently we were told that you can park at the back of the hotel if there is room but it is a steep slope to it. I would stay here again.

From the moment we booked our stay at Hotel Angedras the communication was very friendly, proactive and welcoming - this continued when we arrived. A lovely, bright, clean and extremely hospitable place to stay in Alghero. In the busy season, the ability to park and the lovely sea front walk into town was perfect. Rooms are clean and bright and the beds super comfy. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and would happily stay again. Thank you to the team

Hotel was clean staff friendly. The room although a good size lacked any drink making facilities every other hotel we had been to in Sardinia had something and this was the most expensive. We wanted to sit on our balcony instead of trailing to beach as it was stinking of pee due to the lack of facilities very disappointing there was no sun and rats where seen on many occasions running along the wall thank good we where on 2nd floor. The most annoying thing was breakfast served in a tiny packed room and terrace boiling hot and the worst breakfast of our whole holiday same choice everyday hardly anything to pick from. On many occasions we seen people wrap food up and put in their bags mainly Italians even though there was notices about. Hotel is about 15 minutes walk to old town which makes it nice and quiet to sleep. This hotel is ok if you have a car or for a day or 2 but not a week it lacks services and any kind of atmosphere. Certainly wouldn't come back.

From arrival to leaving everything was simply excellant ! , I could not recommend this hotel enough ! We have stayed here before and standards remain as high. I would like to thank and mention all team reception , Breakfast & house keeping all so friendly welcome and helpful . Always happy to asist along with give us guidance on places to visit . Thankyou so much !!!!!!!!!! Hotel is a pleasant safe walk into Alghero centre and a good walk to local beaches if not using Hotel shuttle bus . We cannot wait for our next visit
