Villa Palmeras

Be aware of this scam. Compare picture they posted on the official website and what we had ( pictures are added ). This is not at all what you would expect .Super dirty place with dim light in the room.. scary .. On the top of this they charge you more for the airport shuttle as it was discussed . I saved our conversation about the fee, agreed to it. The taxi came and charged us different price , after that hotel doesn’t respond.. I hope trip.com will take care of refund as they really good at customer support.

We booked here as we wanted to wake up closer to the airport on our last day, we arrived around 12, we obviously knew our room wouldn’t be ready so we just sunbathed and had a swim, the pool definitely needs a bit of love, but the gardens are delightful as is the foyer with a beautiful indoor water feature. Reception were efficient but the hotel lacks service when it comes to trying to get a drink or order food, wasn’t really anyone around, although we did have a lovely young girl looking after us once we sat down to eat and she kept checking on us outside to see if we needed anything else. The menu is very limited and simple, but it was good honest food. Our room was number 10, overlooking the balcony, I recommend rooms 5,7 or 8 I think if you want a balcony or a terrace. Would definitely stay here again, upon arrival you may need to be buzzed in through the gate.

Beautiful property. Exactly as the pictures. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and right portions. We booked this because we were getting in town at 11:00 p.m., and it was close to the airport. Also, they have a 24-hour check-in, and we wanted to avoid the American chains. I definitely recommend staying here on your next visit.

The facilities and ambience is fabulous. The room, King Bed, A/c, lighting and bathrooms were comfortable and appropriate. The Lobby, foyer and common areas were tastefully decorated to give the ultimate feel of a classy Villa. The breakfast was good and adequate. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Especially, Ernesto, Adrian, David and Michel. Only drawback, in my opinion, is the location. There is nothing in the neighbourhood to shop, convenience stores, cafes or restaurants. One must have a car. Uber is nonexistent after 9 pm. If you go anywhere like Huayacan Avenue, you could be stuck for a ride back. We were in that situation where neither the restaurant or Villa Palmeras staff could help. We felt stranded! Luckily a restaurant patron was able to reach out to someone who sent a vehicle that got us back sn hour snd half later.

This place is verrrrry noisy. As well from outside as from within. You hear everything, which is not ideal for sleep. We also got dirty sheets and pillows with all stains on them. Good thing is that it’s close to the airport. Also good breakfast options.

What a hidden gem! Beautiful oasis, friendly staff, excellent food. Our rental car died while we were here and the owner was very helpful with contacting our rental company. Definitely recommend this unique place to stay, near the Cancun airport, far enough but close enough!

small boutique hotel that must have been a fabulous private home. All of the staff were helpful, friendly & polite. The hotel is a little remote if you aren’t driving but otherwise super convenient for the airport & a short Uber trip into the centre of Cancun for essentials & more vibrancy. A very nice garden with a decent pool & an abundance of the palm trees that give the villa its name. The restaurant is small & basic but quite decent & inexpensive and there is a games room adjacent to both the restaurant & the pool. The photos on the site are a good selection to give you an idea of this hotel. Would be happy to return

Horrible. We booked a "superior" room and they put us on the ground floor with our room not 20 feet from the noisy restaurant. . Staff were unbelievably rude when we complained about how noisy it was. (Asked if we had "tried meditation"). No coffee at breakfast

No dinner options at 21:20. Delivery options did not work. After a transatlantic flight, this is absolutely maddening. The only option provided were instant noodle soups. Please, take it seriously. Abandoning their guests should never be an option for a hotel, independently from its category.
