A friend and I had to abandon a no-tell down the street after midnight on February 12. As always, calling for a room was easy. Upon arrival around 1 am, I met Gia. She was clear and concise as it was her first day alone on the job and she set my expectations. We had a small glitch with the first room and she was literally beside us to make sure we got into the next room and were taken care of. I sat in the lobby before bed and Gia was tasked again with something that took time to resolve. She handled it professionally and courteously. The next morning, we needed towels. A young man was vacuuming outside the door and when I left my room he apologized to me. For vacuuming. It struck me how aware he was and how unaware I was of the overall etiquette of this place. I walked to the lobby and before I could ask, a gentleman said “you need towels” and they were warm! Later in the morning I went to the desk and asked about the manager. The woman asked if there was a problem she could assist with and I assured her it was the opposite. Before checkout I spoke with the manager, Joann, to let her know how much we appreciated the team after such a horrendous experience the night before. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience. I’m sorry to have not gotten the names of the other three employees.
