The Old Victorian Inn

Doris was an outstanding hostess! She was at the door awaiting our arrival as we pulled up on a dark rainy evening. She even offered to help us unload our car! She put us in a comfortable room with plenty of space as we traveled with a pack and play for my 5 week old granddaughter. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets in the closet. The home is beautiful, warm and cozy. Such a splendid collection of furnishings and glassware to adore! Doris had puzzles, books and games available. Coffee was ready early, as I was hoping! The breakfast was cooked fresh and delicious. There is also a hot pot available around the clock with a great variety of teas, herbal, black, and green. We will look forward to staying again!

The Bluebell Garden Club of Lewisburg, WV came together this afternoon (Jan 18, 2024) for afternoon tea. The ladies were so gracious with serving finger sandwiches, scones, fruit salad, desserts and hot tea. The tea cup settings were beautiful. Once again, a wonderful time was had by all. Thank you Doris and ladies.

This is a beautiful Victorian home straight out of a time gone but but with all the modern amenities you need. We had a very comfortable big room and our own private shower room. The house was immaculately clean and Doris was a wonderful host and was very knowledgeable about the town's history and places to go in the area. There was lots to eat at breakfast including coffee cake, fresh fruit and eggs and bacon. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation to couples, families and single travellers. It suits everyone!
