Bordoy Alcudia Bay - Adults Only

A two hour coach ride from Palma Airport was a shocker! The room was fine, spotless in fact. We had to ask for towels at reception as the chambermaid must have forgotten them. The pool was lovely once you braved the initial chill. Watching the 'towel brigade' grabbing sunloungers each morning was hilarious! The dining room staff were all great, really friendly and welcoming. As for the food.....probably best to say nothing apart from that it was adequate and instantly forgettable. We took the offer to upgrade to 'all inclusive' for the last four nights...in all honesty it wasn't worth it.

Wonderful hotel, staff, food and very relaxing atmosphere. We had a lot of fun and laughter and will definitely be going go back

Spent a week at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean and modern, 10min walk to the beach and a 20min walk to Old Town. Hotel food was good and accommodating for all palettes and we made the absolute most out of the all-inclusive bar - those "double" spirit portions would get you a knighthood in a pub in the UK. Super friendly staff with directions and recommendations too. (Very) slight downside was some of our room's air-con didn't work properly and the mini-fridges weren't overly cold but it by no means spoiled our stay.

This is our last nite our holiday has been good as it was family time away for a family of 6 We were here 2 years ago hence booking again there has been a few changes including the name and possibly owners that will stop us from booking again . Cons Only one member of staff on at reception on arrival dealing with late arrival and any queries of existing holiday makers it was slow but she was very professional . The house keepers of the hotel rooms need either more time to clean the rooms properly or trained to a better standard had a few issues but it was rectified. It appears but we may be incorrect that there are fewer staff overall (running on the minium) which we may be the reason for queues at , reception on arrival , bars at busy times after evening meals etc. The entertainment team so a very good job but since our last visit there are certainly far less activities they finish at lunchtime , the last visit had entertainment all day (Daved was a star) Pros No rush for sunbeds in the morning The staff work really hard nothing is a problem The food is good maybe not to everyone taste but you won't strave Good location plenty to do outside of hotel Hotel on a whole is clean

Overall a lovely holiday no major issues. Reception Fast check in, very helpful every time we dealt with them. Room On the small side but very clean. Plenty of sockets. Safe easy to set up. Bathroom well stocked with shampoo soap etc. We were at the back of hotel so no pool view. Restaurant Main restaurant always plenty of seats, one of the better AI we have stayed at, always found something to eat and food generally very tasty, only negative unless using self serve cold drinks, it wasn't always easy or quick to request an alcoholic beverage. Pool snack bar lovely but only available mid afternoon. Pool Loved the pool area, sunbeds spread out with umbrellas set into floor, always beds available no matter what time of day, again very clean. Pool clean, maybe 1 or 2 tiles need to be replaced at entrance but didn't spoil holiday. Fun organised activities if you wished to join in. Only downside of pool area I felt were the toilets, frosted glass doors with a gap around them, if you can see out, others can see in, they also needed to be cleaned more throughout the day. Bar Lovely bar area in evening, entertainment was on the whole good. Location Walk down the road turn left to go to port area, about 20/25 mins walk turn right about same distance great street of restaurants and shops. About 10 mins walk to beach. After reading previous reviews I was nervous about the holiday, absolutely no need. This is a nice hotel with a lovely friendly atmosphere and really nice staff.

Lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Room cleaned daily. Excellent choice of food and very tasty.
