Luna Clube Oceano

We wasn't expecting great things of this place after reading the reviews on here but we were pleasantly surprised. They upgraded our room free of charge for my birthday from a studio to a one bedroom apartment with a pool view. The room was a great size and very clean. Cleaners came in every day. Yes its alittle dated but for what we paid we were more than happy and the rooms were clean and that's the main thing for us as we don't go on holiday to spend it in the room! Reception staff were very accommodating and helpful. The only thing it's missing is a bar but there is literally 3 just over the road and a shop so not really a big problem! Location is good for the beach and old town. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Albufeira. Couldn't fault the place!

Hi we haven't actually visited here as of yet but are coming here from 3rd September for 10 nights,does the apartments offer adapted room for my mothers mobility and if anyone has used one what facilities does it offer,is it basic with acessible bath/shower chair which is our main concern,is it shower over bath etc,thanks

Excellent staff .Help full Rooms large but in need of upgrade of some sort .Wonderful sea views and great location for beach .Old town and the strip .All in walking distance.No food or drinks available at the hotel however great choice of bars selling food near the hotel

Outside first view lovely as soon as you walk in its a 1970 throw back. Photos on website are false there is no bar or restaurant or sunbeds on roof terrace. Also only sunbeds by pool no tables or chairs.our apartment was spacious microwave didn't work kettle plug had burnt out and plug socket in bedroom was hanging off the wall. Bathroom tiles and grout was mouldy. So photos are very misleading

Lovely receptionist, the area this is located is nice, close to the beach about a 15 min walk to the strip or old town. The room however was average, the room is dirty mainly in corners and under the bed, and had bugs in the bathtub a couple of nights. The balcony is quite big however wish they had an ashtray. The cleaners only cleaned the room once and the 2nd time my friend asked for them to clean they didn’t take the bins out or done the bed so not actually sure if they even cleaned the room. Read that the pool was only open July- September but the pool was open. The Jacuzzi was broken apparently and didn’t actually know where it was. They told us to go to a different hotel went there for them to say the same thing went to the third hotel of theirs which had an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Tried to play pool the one night but was blocked by loads of chairs so not sure what that was about. So overall was average but wouldn’t stay here longer than a couple of days.

Stayed here for a week in July 2023. The complex operates only as self catering.. There’s no bar, drinks or food in complex despite having the amenities for same. Some apartments are owned by hotel and owned by private owners. We stayed in apartment owned by private owner. It was on the ground floor. Very clean and airy. Nice sheltered balcony and loads of room to dry clothes. Pool area is clean and loads of sunbeds available. A few tiles missing but nothing too much. It is the perfect location for old town and the beach. You can walk in via the board walk. 10/15 minute walk. Highly recommend.
