Good location within walking distance to restaurants and stores. Lovely sea/pool/street view depending on what floor your room is. Delicious and expansive buffet breakfast. We have just returned from a weeks holiday in this hotel. We paid for a deluxe double room which was quite a hefty upgrade cost. The room was big and had a big balcony with lovely view. That’s where the good bits end. This was anything but a deluxe room so many issues with it, we don’t think it was a room usually used but we think they’d overbooked. Anyway lots of issues, we complained and were offered €50 per night refund which we accepted however when it was put back onto our card it was €15 per night, not what we thought we’d agreed. One of the balcony windows didn’t even have any glass in it just a flimsy sheet of plastic which rattled loudly all night. What should have been a restful few days turned into a stressful week.

My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights from 28may till 5june. The hotel is listed as a 4 star but in my opinion, maybe a 3 and a half at a push, the location is about a 15 minute walk to the tunnel area and many good bars and restaurants on the way, the walk back uphill could be difficult for people with breathing issues as it is quite steep . We chose this hotel as one of its policies states there are no Stag/hen parties allowed so we thought we could relax by the pool, "wrong" after 2 quiet days they arrived.. a group of 15 young men took over the pool area drinking, singing and playing loud music.. They stayed for 2 days but were replaced by a smaller group of about 6, although not quite as bad were still noisy. When we complained and pointed this out they ( and probably many other hotels) told us that it wasn't booked as a Stag so they were powerless to do anything about it!? Obviously they don't want to knock back the revenue that they bring so this means that probably most other hotels will get around this the same way, They did offer us an upgrade though which we declined as we had already upgraded. They then offered to refund our initial upgrade fee and offered a late check out which we accepted. The first room we upgraded from was tiny and small with nowhere to even unpack, room 402, Our upgraded room was much better though it was a mix match of old furniture. It was 2.5 euros per day for the safe which we paid but the fridge was not working and we assumed there was a fee for that as well so we didn't bother. The breakfast was nice enough but was very limited, the maid was nice and changed our towels daily, all the Staff were all nice very friendly and helpful. All in all we would not return there, I've been coming to Albufeira for many years but with the Whole Stag issue and the Queues trying to get through customs We won't be back anytime soon. I think Albufeira has turned into Benidorm.

Back from a great holiday again in May. 7th time here, decided to go a 2nd time this year, stayed on 4th floor. Staff are very friendly, great location and nice rooms. Food is great quality, plenty of choices for breakfast and enjoyed the meals during the afternoon. Didnt use the pool this time, but steam room, sauna and gym are free to use. Looking forward to returning later in the year.

A perfectly situated & well loved super friendly hotel with stunning views across the bay, we received an upgrade to a sea view room as our travel agent booked wrong room , can’t thank Jorge enough! we had an amazing sunrise every morning from our balcony , this little hotel has everything you need to enjoy a relaxed quiet side to Albufeira Generous buffet breakfast until 11am..pool, nice little bar and a 10 minute stroll down to the beach via little cobbled local streets & into the old town with nightlife or daytime cafe restaurants … Marina 5 mins away from hotel too for cave & Dolphin boat trips.. Jorge & Ana on reception were extremely helpful .. lovely staff.. we would highly recommend for a relaxed few days away as a couple.. we loved it & hope to return again x

We had a fantastic break here. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with some lovely dated furniture. Which we though was lovely and in keeping with the hotel. The pool are is an ideal size for the hotel, clean and comfortable, with amazing views. We had an deluxe double room, which again offered the most amazing views, and a plenty space to relax in also Jorge who checked us in was a fantastic host, and had a nice sense of humour. True service with a smile. In terms of food, nearby you have the Indian Ocean or Jaipur which are both fantastic. And the Javali bar at the bottom of the hotel does the best cocktails we could have asked for. Away front wheel main drags, it's much quieter. But better value for money. For a nice Portuguese meal head into the old town and visit o'manjar opposite the cavern pub, absolutely beautiful food.

I arrived at the hotel for a 10 night stay around 12.30 at night where the staff were very friendly and helpful, we had paid extra for a sea view and were given a standard room which was not available for a room change for 2 nights of the holiday , we were told that all the rooms were fully booked so even though we had paid extra we couldn’t change rooms for two nights, the hotel is very clean, nice tv , tidy size room . However bathroom was very small and shower only had limited hot water , it is a short distance walk to the town or marina I would recommend this hotel for a cheap holiday.

Dated and in serious need of a refresh, the bed was comfortable although we did have to ask for a room change. It was accommodated quickly at no extra charge, but disappointing we weren’t given this in the first place? Check in is painful, slow with zero customer service (we found this to the case throughout Albuferia). Breakfast staff were zero help and looked as though they would rather be somewhere else to be honest! Selection fairly standard for hotels although the layout is not easy to navigate. Watch out for the poolside entertainment, the singers only go till 10pm but the ones we heard were pretty bad and at full volume. The hotel itself is up a very steep hill if walking, but well out of the hustle and bustle of the main ***** area,. You can walk to the marina in about 20 minutes, all down hill which is a major plus and a tuk tuk back will cost you 10euro and is so much fun!
