I stayed on the boat for a whole night, expecting a unique and memorable experience. However, it turned out to be just average. While the ambiance was decent, everything on the boat was overpriced, from the stay itself to the food and other services.
The room was okay, but nothing exceptional for the price. The food was average—not bad, but definitely not worth the high cost. Overall, the experience felt underwhelming for the price paid.
If you're looking for a luxury experience, this might not be the best choice. It’s decent, but not worth the premium price tag.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tharangini Houseboats excellent staff, very neat and clean, Vishnu was wonderful, great food we got an upgrade to a private boat as we were a family of 6, surely recommend the company very professional and great communication

We absolutely loved our experience at tharangini houseboat. The area you're exploring by boat is beautiful. It is also a very relaxing and calm experience with the sound of the waves and nature all around you. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful, we felt very much taken care of. We went for the extra boat excursion in a smaller boat in the evening for sunset, which was also beautiful, and we saw many birds. The food was delicious as well, and plenty. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the room was quite spacious, taking into account that you're on a boat. The only negative feedback i would give is that the room looked a bit old, and some corners, the walls and the ceiling looked a bit smudgy. Because of that, the overall feel of the room could be improved. However, this did not really affect our experience, and we completely enjoyed and recommend a stay at tharangini boathouse.

Excellent Experience. Staff is very cooperative and humble. We arrived at houseboat before check-in time and they made ready the room for early check-in. Food served was also excellent. Overall it was a great experience at Tharangini houseboats.
