Floria Beach Hotel

Ignore the lovely beach photos, they are photoshopped,nothing like the photos very rocky and full of pebbles. Food mediocre but not for British Tourists and never hot,lots of motorway noise as not double glazed. There is no chance of chilling in your room in the afternoon as people let their doors slam when entering/leaving the room also late at night/early morning.My partner and I contracted food poisoning on our third day,It was from the hotel as we hadn't eaten anywhere else, also another couple of guests were also ill.I am in the catering industry and for a 110 room hotel,the attention to detail was sadly lacking regarding dishes as a lot of them was use ups from previous meals. I was really disappointed during our visit and would not return as I didn't find value for money unfortunately.

The positive first. The waiters were attentive and hard working, fetching drinks and always quick and friendly. The hotel looks over the sea and is very scenic, a lovely position. The food is plentiful but not for British taste. Lots of salad and variety with fish and meat. However my husband got food poisoning for 2 days and I heard of at least 2 other families that experienced this. I did not find one of the female receptionists at all helpful and actually dismissive. However, most other staff were polite and friendly. I did not like the area of Alanya, it is built up with modern hotels and blocks, the town has plenty of restaurants and shops but not attractive. The old area near the castle has positive s and the cable car ride is nice with views but need to be reasonably fit to climb to top. Restaurant at top lovely with nice staff and I was grateful for real fresh orange juice, also nice fresh sandwiches served with potato fries. Unfortunately, I will not return to this area. If you like jeep safari, paragliding and tours I think there is stuff for you but not the historical interesting place I hoped. My fault for not researching better! Darinda Conroy nee Freeman.

The best hotel we have stayed at in alanya, Our 2nd time here, great location, if you don't mind a nice stroll into alanya Town or taxi outside which are cheap, all the staff very friendly, big thankyou to the manager, deniz waiter, the chefs who served lovely food, beautiful sea view room which was cleaned daily. Not a hotel for families as there is nothing to do more for couples as its quiet and relaxing, will definitely be back next year. Thankyou to all the staff you all work very hard
