В отеле классный персонал, очень отзывчивый. Понравилась еда, свежевыжатые соки. Раннее заселение обеспечили (на пару часов раньше). Единственное, просили комплимент на день рождения заранее, он не был предоставлен. Еще не попали на массаж, т.к. всё было расписано на 2 дня вперед, учитывайте это при бронировании. В целом в отеле всё чисто, приятно, красиво! Нам очень понравилось.

I stayed in this hotel from September 1st until 12th, in the room 408. The first night I was assigned to the room 434 (no terrace, garden view), but I didn’t like it, so they moved me the next day to the room 408 (spacious, with 2 beds, terrace and garden view). It was a lovely room, with separated WC and the bathroom with a bathtub, old but functional wardrobe closets with a safe (which was working, unlike the one in room 434), and a very nice terrace with 2 chairs and a table (there are clothes-tubes for drying towels and swimsuits, which are not enough, so one has to use chairs, too). There was an empty fridge: they supply one liter water bottle per day in the room, but you can take 0.5 liter water bottles from any of the bars, as many as you need. There are bathrobes and sleepers, as well as a kettle for making tea/coffee in the room (no creamers, only sugar). Floors are tiled everywhere, with a carpet only under the bed and about 20 cm on all sides. AC was working. Resort has a main restaurant with a terrace, buffet-style, for all main meals (abundance of choices, both in quality and quantity of food) and a la carte restaurant which has to be reserved day in advance (my friends used it once), and several bars: Beach bar (snacks and lunch during the day), Lobby bar with a terrace (best served coffee, beside the one I made myself during breakfast), Moorish Café (lovely place, we used it only once) and American Café (it was always closed when I passed by it). Entertainment team was active both on the beach and by the pool. They were working throughout the day and if a guest wished to play all sorts of games or just watch (like me), they were there. There was a different show every evening at 21:30 h, advertized everywhere (program was on weekly basis). The staff of the hotel is fantastic: they work hard and long hours, mostly with a smile and kind greetings. I do not recall their names: cleaning lady left my room every day with fresh flowers or new towels, replenished water-bottles and cleaned floors in the room; waiters in the restaurant and bars were always there if we needed anything; guys by the pool were there at dawn helping with parasols and mattresses for our loungers; there was always someone at the Reception, answering questions (which I had many!), helping with various arrangements, especially to organize a driver and a vehicle for our private excursion, etc. There was only one big problem I noticed: the resort needs more staff, because there are omissions and annoyances that would have been avoided if there were more people at hand and working. My terrace would have been cleaned every day, too; pools and pool aria would have been completely cleaned by 8 a.m. when the guests start pouring after the breakfast; the beach would have been “combed” and flattened at least once a week if not daily (as I’ve seen in other resorts in Tunisia), which never happened during my 11-days-stay; it would have never happened to not have clean towels a

The staff at this hotel really make it they all work so hard and / or soi friendly all bar staff n reception staff was lovely n the entertainment team was great mom mom was love the girls was fab they was so happy to help make your holiday feel good the food was hit n miss the la cart was the worst we ever been too when we complained I will say the main chef cooked for us so that was lovely the pudding was always good pizza was good the main let down of this hotel it needs a updated for the full hotel it's very run down n dated we had to move room 3times lots of faults air-conditioning was really bad in first 2rooms and lots of other faults with the rooms witch is a shame as it cauld be a great hotel if it was refurbished it's really letting the fab staff n guests down

This was our 2nd visit to the Marhaba Palace and I have to say it was disappointing to see how run down the hotel is from 5 yrs ago! Check in was fantastic with no issues. Rooms are badly need refurbished as our bath was blocked for the full 11 days we were there, the toilet would not flush most days, the was a crack in the sink, balcony was dirty, could not hang towels to dry. Pool area was cleaned daily although I never saw the pool being cleaned during my stay, lots of broken sunbeds, loose tiles around pool area. Restaurants were awful, we went to the a la carte one night and that was enough, the food was cold when it arrived, we ordered chicken and we were served fish we ended up walking out, the staff did not seem to care when we mentioned it. The buffet restaurant the food was cold and tasteless. Only saving grace was we ended up getting the head chef Lofti Ben Arbia making our meals at night and they were fantastic can’t thank him enough! The animation team were fantastic, very friendly and hard working with the budget the have to work with, they made our holiday! Staff at hotel are all hard working and a credit to the hotel they work hard and are friendly Sadly I will not visit this hotel again as too many problems, 1st floor was flooded during a storm, grounds around the hotel are unkemp and a hazard, not enough seating for guests especially when weather was bad as you only had the reception and lobby bar, the American bar has been closed for years which is a waste. I will not return and I certainly will not recommend, I don’t think this hotel is a 5•, they would be lucky to be 3•.

Amazing hotel overall. Great variety of all inclusive food. Fabulous weather for October. Attentive staff. BUT… We arrived after a 12hr trip door to door Only to find the hotel had overbooked! Got given some suite and we explained our great disappointment as we didn’t want the hassle of unpacking/packing etc. Mochter then came to our room to say we had booked no sea view room for our stay - but we know we had. Problem is there are 2 similar room types with Tui. 1) Twin room with balcony & Seaview 2) Twin room with balcony (But in the blurb of this room type, it clearly states “twin room with balcony OVERLOOKING THE SEA”)! HOWEVER… Having seen the rep at 10am the next morning they had honoured our sea view room! So they must have known they were in the wrong! So within 12hrs it was rectified and all was good, but we could have really really really done without the stress after a 12hr day of travelling! Everything else since has been fab, just beware a lot of Russians and Germans nab the sun beds by 0630am!!! We went into the marina one evening which stank of sewage and full of kids and adults pestering you to buy crap from them. So important just to respectfully say NO and walk on. There are also hundreds of stray cats in the area and around the hotel scavenging for food, bless them. Overall we would return providing they learn from the checkin/room ordeal.

Am here now 5 days in. This is a good hotel but just needs improving. Good points. Food is good, enjoyed all meals Staff are freindly and helpfull. Hotel is clean and building is well presented. Pools are nice,clean, and relaxed. Generally happy compared with cost. Animation team work their socks off, can't fault them. Not so good points. Smell of diesel at pool last few days, not nice. Drinks are OK but no more, Inside Bar areas are chaotic, feel that tipping is a necessity to recieve good service from some staff. Beach, though pleasant, isn't very clean, needs litter picking. American bar (one of bar's offered in package), not been open for at least 2 years. Al a carte Restraunte not fantastic. Though this sounds like I had a bad experience, I didn't, but just feel they are so close to me wanting to return.....but not quite. Not sure about peak season but the Marina area, though has nice shops, is pretty deserted. We paid extra money to be near here but only went once. Overall this was a good holiday but could very easily have been great.

Well what an unbelievable holiday. Its the first day back in the UK after our time at the Marhaba Hotel Tunisia . The one priority? Book for next year. What a place. First thing to point out is the staff. And I mean every single one of them. Ground, cleaning, reception, waiters, cooks, bar, seving, entertainment staff and all! Everyone has a genuine smile and are happy to help. The family were treated so warmly and nothing was ever too much for the entire staff. From the lady who always remembered my sunny side eggs in the morning to my guy at the bar whom after the first night new what I wanted every order. And they did this for everyone, I have no idea how! The hotel is beautiful and the air conditioning in the room us so good. Beds were very comfy and we all slept so well. But you won't spend too much time in your room because you will want to be out enjoying the hotel and beach. Pool area amazing wit a fresh water and salt water pool. You can float all day long in the salt water chatting to all the other lovely guests. Water polo became a bit of a thing for me and my daughter . Beach is so clean also with yellow sand and blue waters and is a literal step off the beachside restaurant at the hotel. Night times? Well there is the main bar area with piano and a singer. You have the option to relax in many seated areas. However we spent every night watching the amazing entertainment team putting on themed shows all utterly fabulous. Every night each week different theme including dancing singing and fire dancing. And at the end of the evening dj and dance. My wife loved thus! All I can say is if you want to take a holiday were the whole family can relax, be treated like royalty and have so much fun then this is the holiday palace for you. The clue really is in the name.

After reading some of the reviews I was becoming worried however we loved this hotel. The room is clean and spacious. Yes buffets can be repetitive however there is a lot to choose, for breakfast there is continental choice plus cooked (not English bacon/sausage your not in England so this is understandable), there are however fresh cooked omelettes, eggs, pancakes and donuts. In fact the lady on the omelettes was very friendly and chatty. At lunch we went to the beach restaurant always plenty to choose from salad, fish, meat or even pizza and chips if you prefer. There are also snacks in the afternoon and evening meal is a set table in the main restaurant. We tried the Tunisian meal in the a la carte last night, too much couscous for me but the everything else was delicious. The hotels location is good and you can walk to the harbour too. The staff here are brilliant they literally do not stop. Drinks are from 9am to midnight and includes bottle water, soft drinks and alcohol. Waiter service at all bars, restaurants and pool. The entertainment team do everything from darts, archery, water polo etc but you don’t have to join. There was also a foam party at the pool yesterday which was so much fun. Evenings has a piano player or a singer, sometimes a show although we didn’t go to that. Great holiday and hotel.
