Exclusive is a small Agrigento hotel with only three rooms per floor. Location is nice - right beside the train station which is at the edge of the main commercial street Atenea. It was unfortunate that at the time we were there, the road was being redone so guests had to take a roundabout way to get to the hotel entrance and then back up again. The reception manager was a very accommodating chap; we asked for hot water and he personally brought two cups and a hot water pitcher so we could have our tea. The room is decently sized although oddly shaped. The work desk was in a corner and curved from one side to the other. The T&B was at the far end of the room. What caught our eye was the artwork that decorated the T&B door, the foyer, and the space above the headboard - it was modern, very thematic, and quite pleasing to look at. There were enough electric outlets for our devices, thank goodness - we had missed that in our previous hotels. The TV was a disappointment - it was so small compared to the wall space - and there were no English channels at all. We missed having a coffee machine, or at least a hot water kettle. But the reception manager's quick service made up for it. Breakfast was on the ground floor and there were only 6 tables. It was rather forgettable - they only served the basics. No hot food of any kind (hotdogs, bacon, scrambled egg, beans, etc.), only cold cuts of meats and cheeses. The reception manager was also the one bringing the coffee. There were several steps to the small lobby - pity you if you had heavy luggage to lug up.
