Agonda Cottages

This was a last minute booking during Christmas which is usually a difficult time in South Goa to find good accomodation so we got very lucky with this find. The place was centrally located in Agonda at walking distance to everything which made commuting easy. A perfect and cosy short getaway with touches of green and good ambience situated in front of the beach so you can wake up to the waves. The room and bathroom was nice, clean, comfortable with an aircon. The staff and service were exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful at all times including with our booking, recommendations and also when we misplaced some of our belongings, Anisha Bandekar in particular was wonderful. The price of the stay is a bit on the higher side if you are on a budget friendly trip but reasonable during the holiday season compared to other places that are not as nice. The cafe food is decent with complimentary breakfast and sweet puppies for company. On Christmas night, we enjoyed a fun karaoke session and met some lovely travelers as well. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cottages set a pretty garden full of tropical plants. Minutes from sea front. Sweetly scented with incense sticks. The bed is huge, the bathroom is nice. The staff are all wonderful. Especially Anish on front desk and also Barthi who cleaned the rooms and swept the path and just surged very hard. She also sweetly gave me beautiful floral garlands for my hair handmade by her. The bar/cafe was good, as was complimentary breakfast. Loved it. Was sad to leave.

I stayed at Agonda Cottages as a solo traveller but with family close by and with two other family mamber joining me at AC for my final week. The accommodation is the best I've stayed in so far in Agonda. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms well appointed. During the month of my stay, because of availability, I had to move between a raised sea view cottage, a garden room and then to the raised ground floor sea view cottage as soon as it was free. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Hope to be back January 2026

Second time I stayed here. Very friendly staff, location is perfect for me. Good food in the restaurant and beautiful garden outside the cottage’s. Loved my stay very much and will definitely come back next’s year. My favourite place in Agonda,

Very cute place in Agonda, with a nice beach restaurant and really lovely staff. The rooms are nice, if a little rickety in places, but do feel a bit pricey for what you get. The cleaning is excellent though and the rooms look really nice after the maids have been. The only negative - and this is out of the control of the property - is that the place next door (Bella Ciao) plays thumping music that ruins the peace. No one seems to want this and it is the only noise in Agonda - such a shame! It did improve later in the week we were there.
