Apollon Hotel

A bit of a late review as I stayed here in Oct 24 for a 10 night solo holiday. I had a fantastic time here. The staff are really friendly and welcoming (a true credit to the place) and the hotel is very clean. I stayed all inclusive and for the size of the hotel, I was very impressed with the quality and variation of the food, there was always something suitable to eat. The hotel pool is a decent size with a good seating area. I never had to wait for a free sun bed. Only slight downside is that mosquitoes are active around the pool area but this was easily solved with a squirt or two of mozzie spray. The location is perfect for exploring...gorgeous beaches in walking distance, shopping, great bars and restaurants nearby, boat trips and excursions are easily accessed too. As a female travelling solo I also felt extremely safe in the area, including at night so I'd highly recommend to others travelling on their own. I've now booked to go back again when the season starts up as there's still so much that I want to do there that I didn't get a chance to do on my previous visit. If you're looking for an ideally situated hotel that's child free, clean, friendly, helpful and not too busy, then this is a perfect choice!

Booked last minute & was very impressed especially for the money we paid, we had a double room on 2nd floor with town view great balcony with 2 chairs & table, the beds were so comfy made my stay, great little bathroom with a very powerful shower rooms were cleaned every day & towels changed very clean hotel. Breakfast was good selection of cereals. Yogurt, preserves ,honey, crusty bread, sliced bread for toast, eggs , bacon, selection of cheese & cooked meats, croissants. Juice, & great coffee machine. Lunch selection of salads soup & nice jugs of iced water that you could help yourself to & evening meal was very much the same always something you could find to eat. We went on the all inclusive deals as it only worked out about £10 more a day & that included any of your hot drinks, beer soft beverages & brandy, raki & ouzo, red white & rose wine which was drinkable was great for a spritzer. There was a lounge area & a nice seated area outside & we were very lucky with the weather was fab. Nice little pool & terrace area to cool off. The staff were very friendly & made your stay very enjoyable we had a great week in a clean friendly comfortable hotel Thank you

Not a 3 star hotel. The room floor is not polished and not properly cleaned, unlike the main hotel hall. This means no consideration for guests. Rusty fridge, old furniture. This is my last Greece holiday after several years. It becomes more greedy for worse conditions. I'm heading to Spain from no one.

Hotel Apollon exceeded our expectations as a superb three-star hotel. Its location is ideal—just a minute's walk from restaurants and the beach, and not far from the town center. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making the stay enjoyable. The hotel has a small pool with a cozy terrace, perfect for relaxing. Despite being central, the area is quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. Overall, it's a great value for money and we highly recommend it for a comfortable and convenient stay.

We arrived at Apollon Hotel at around 3am on Thursday 13th June 2024, after the hotel we had booked was unable/unwilling to provide us with the room we had booked. As you might expect, we were extremely worried about what we were going to do. All our fears were allayed when we were greeted at Apollon Hotel by Manolis, on reception. He listened to our predicament, reassured us all would be well, and showed us to the room he was happy to book us into. He made sure we knew all we needed to know, before bidding us a good night. To say we were relieved is a massive understatement! When we arose the next morning, and went down for breakfast, we were greeted by Manolis and his colleague on reception, Eleni. They both went to great lengths to make sure we'd had a comfortable night, and that we were now feeling better, after our horrendous experience at a rival hotel. Our week's stay at Apollon Hotel provided everything, and more, that we wanted or needed. The hotel is a two minute stroll to/from Ammos Beach; our room was clean, comfortable and spacious; our bed was comfortable; our balcony had a very pleasant view; the air-con was more than a match for the very high ambient temperatures; breakfast was plentiful, varied, and of a very high standard. Given the excellence of Apollon Hotel, and the level of satisfaction we experienced, it is quite something to say that the best part of our stay there was meeting and getting to know the staff there. Each and every one of them went above and beyond what could be reasonably expected; they made us feel that we were in the company of long-time friends, and we shall miss them until our return. We would unreservedly recommend Apollon Hotel.
