The hotel is in a good area and has an amazing entertainment, the staff are really lovely and welcoming I would 100 recommend for anyone to come and enjoy their holiday in Kenzi Europa Hotel. There are different food verities to choose from and they are unlimited you’ll get what you pay for. We will definitely miss this hotel , holiday of a life time. The weather is so beautiful

Context - seasoned traveller across the world travelling as a family of five with two teenage daughters and a toddler. People - honestly the most friendly and welcoming people I have experienced when travelling both in the hotel and outside too. At the hotel all of the staff are incredible, a small tip at the start of the week and you’ll be treated like royalty. Outside, as with many countries the people will ask you to see their shop or restaurant but a polite no thank you and they will wish you well and leave you be. A special mention for Bilal at the door, Brahim at the pool bar, Rachid our rep and Yoyo & Miggy from the entertainment team who were amazing all week. Hotel - the hotel is mid sized and at its busiest never seems too busy. Queues for food or drink are never more than a couple of people deep and the pools are never overcrowded, there are always sunbeds available. The rooms are spotless, perhaps a little small, but who wants to spend the holiday in the room? We had two adjoining rooms which gave the girls a good level of independence whilst not being too far out of sight. Food & Drink - the quality of the food has been great, a good mix of salads, traditional Moroccan, Italian and other foods. The outdoor bbq at lunch is a nice touch. I would like to see ice cream available for the kids throughout the day and not just at lunch. I think the drinks could be improved too, rum is good, whiskey is ok, beer isn’t great (Stork) and another option here would be good. Soft drinks and juices have been spot on though, and the kids have loved drinking the mocktails all week. The Moroccan tea at breakfast with a Moroccan pancake and honey is a great way to start the day. Agadir - plenty to do in and around town if lacking a bit of a traditional centre or old town it is made up for by the 3 mile long promenade. Very family friendly and laid back, if you’re looking for Marmaris or Malia this isn’t it. Plenty of bars, restaurants and convenience stores. Excursions - if you book at the hotel you will pay a premium, we arranged our own taxis or booked the Ste Tours, a tour agency next door for the same excursions at half the price. The cable car to the casbah where you get panoramic views of the city and options to ride camels is worth it (also makes for a good morning run up the trail to the top of the hill for those inclined). The Souk El Had is a great way to spend a morning getting lost among the 6000+ stalls as is the Medina d’Agadir for a traditional feel and a large play area for the kids. We also did the 4x4 Jeep Safari which is a brilliant whistle stop full day tour of western Morocco including, flamingo spotting, pottery factory, sand dunes, silver city Tiznit, a traditional Berber lunch, camel riding and more. Finally the buggy’s and quad bikes were a brilliant way to get the blood flowing for those a bit more adventurous, plenty of fun to be had there. We got a last minute deal from TUI on this hotel that made it a very cheap stay for a week. It was all inclusive and the rooms were clearly newly refurbished. Cannot fault our experience for the price. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is there is room for improvement and we wouldn’t have been as happy if we paid the full price for the trip. The in day activities were repetitive and minimal and limited hours. The evening activities we went to a few which were great but the rest were parties or dancing. The pool wasn’t heated despite being March. We got very lucky with the weather hitting 35 degrees by the end of the week. We were there last week of Ramadan so the food was at 7.30pm instead of 7pm but this did feel quite late for us Brits. It was obvious too as there was often a queue outside waiting to be let in and then a stampede to the hot food. The food was decent and some nice meat on offer but did get repetitive. This is another instance where we were happy at our cheap price but not full price. Drinks also got boring as there wasn’t any squash or flavoured water or anything similar, it was juice, still water, full sugar fizzy drinks, hot drinks or alcohol. There was Coke Zero but its quality varied as it comes out of a self serve machine.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing time! The highlight of my stay was definitely the animation team, especially Mouss and Yoyo. They were so engaging and made every activity enjoyable. From the fun games to the evening entertainment, their energy and enthusiasm were contagious. They made sure everyone felt included and had a great time. It really elevated the whole experience and added a personal touch to my vacation. The hotel itself was beautiful, with excellent facilities and service, but it was the fantastic animation team that truly made our stay memorable. Highly recommend!
