So the Valeria Jardins D’Agadir Resort I'm going to try and be as objective as possible however, I will be honest given my experiences during my stay. Once the utterly ridiculous passport control was completed (story for another day, buckle up for your return) and transfer on the coach with a driver that doesn't understand the concept of speed bumps we arrived at the hotel. We were greeted by the security at the door and ushered towards the main desk. Once that the main desk we were asked to fill out some documents and provided keycards for the accommodation and told about the times for meals etc. We were advised that dinner was finished and that was it, no alternative information about where to go to get a meal or where they would recommend. We were taken to our accommodation and assisted with the cases etc, the rooms are very basic and I mean that literally. The rooms are two single beds pushed together, two side tables, dressing table, built-in wardrobe and an ill fitting cupboard that houses the mini fridge and that's your lot. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms nor is there anything provided/restocked in the mini fridge. I would also advise taking all toiletries as there is nothing provided in the accommodation other than a “one size fits all gel scrub” that gets refilled every other week. The balconies are quite small but functional for maybe 2 adults and there is plastic garden furniture and a table. However, credit must be given to the cleaners, the rooms could be cleaned daily if required and you could tell the furniture was moved around and cleaned under which you were out. They definitely deserve a lot of credit as they must be the hardest workers in the hotel, so please do leave them a tip upon your departure. Once we had all settled the cases into the rooms we decided to go on the hunt for an evening meal, as dinner was over. We headed out of the hotel and passed the main desk to head out the main door where we were abruptly stopped by the security guard at the airline style body scanner. He gesticulated to his wrist and grunted a couple of times, we quickly realised he thought we were in the hotel illegally as we were not wearing wristbands. Back to the desk we went to obtain the wristbands we should have been given on arrival. Wristbands obtained from the blaise staff member behind the desk, we attempted to descend out into Agadir on the hunt for dinner. The next day was generally about getting your bearings of the complex and the food and drinks on offer. Resort The resort itself is made up of 9/10 Riyad style blocks with around 25ish apartments in each unless you are in the block where the spa is which has less as the ground floor is encompassed by the spa itself. The gardens are well maintained but the blocks themselves are a bit tired in places and the pathways can be a bit uneven here and there. Also of note the communal areas of the Riyads could do with being cleaned more often, as they
