For breakfast only option for Omlates stayed 5 days and had 3 different type of Omlates should have been more option. not gona book this hotel again

We have been staying over the road at Timoulay Hotel and Spa, but I fell ill from food poisoning from a restaurant. We had to extend our holiday by 3 days so had to stay one night in this hotel as ours was full. ONE NIGHT WAS TOO MANY- if you are thinking of staying here DONT. The staff are ok friendly enough, the hotel is very shabby and needs a good renovation. We were shown to our room through a series of long dark corridors - it felt a bit like a scene from the shinning v creepy my kids would have hated it. We were put in a room with a broken shower, broken toilet seat, broken shower door so the water completely flooded the floors we had to use all the towels to mop it up. The floors were dirty, so much that I wore flip flops throughout the room even in shower! ! I haven’t done that since I went backpacking in Africa in the bush. I wouldn’t expect it from a hotel. We were in a room overlooking a dumping site with wild dogs barking all night. Luckily we were at the far end away from the roof top bar - which is NOT part of the hotel and plays music until 2am. We didn’t hear it from our end but I think this could also be a problem . We didn’t eat here as I think the cleanliness of our room was a big indicator NOT to risk the food. My advice would be don’t book and go to Timoulay Spa over the road which is absolutely fantastic !!

Just back from a weeks stay at this hotel, the staff were friendly and polite but did not respond to any of our complaints, which there were many We were shown to our suite but could not get wifi except on our balcony, but it would take ages to download, then drop out, they took us to another suite but that was just the same, you only seem to get goodish wifi near reception The breakfast was poor and repetitive , every morning had to ask for an orange juice and two slices of toast, which was more like brioche than bread, tables menus and table covers were always dirty and we resorted to taking down wet wipes to clean our table and cutlery The one meal we had in the hotel was ok, it was edible The location of the hotel was not near anywhere so you had to either walk (uphill coming back) or take a taxi everywhere, but they were not expensive and readily available We constantly had to ask for clean towels, when we did get clean towels they smelled musky, and had constantly cool or tepid water, i would complain at the front desk, they would apologise and say they would sort it but nothing would happen The worst part of our stay was the constant boom boom boom 🤯 of music every night, until the early hours of the morning If you want a quiet, clean comfortable hotel with good food in a good location, this is not the hotel to book

****BRILLIANT HOTEL**** Super friendly staff, I cannot recommend enough. Myself and my friend both had our own rooms on the 3rd floor over looking the pool. You can see the sun set from the balconies and it was stunning. The pool area is lovely. The pools freezing so I braved it once but it was January so maybe it warmer other times of the year but chilling on a sun-bed in the scorching sun with amazingly attentive staff was bliss! The hotels is a little older than others but the room was clean, the shower was hot and the cleaners come in each day and make beds and supply new towels and made a pretty decoration on the bed, none of my personal items were moved an inch and I feel very happy and secure in my room. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with polished rooms this isn’t it but if you are looking for a comfortable hotel with 5* staff this is the one for you. We had a fantastic week at the Borj, my only down side was the roof bar, booming music till 2am but it didn’t really bother me I was exhausted most evenings from exploring Agadir. The staff even bought me a birthday cake and candles which was super sweet and gratefully appreciated. Both my friend and I couldn’t understand the bad reviews and we were a little worried before arriving. As I said previously if you want a super expensive hotel then go book one elsewhere, this was amazing value, friendly and a really nice experience. We would 100% stay again. Thank you all the the Borj for making an amazing memorable holiday ♥️

Our flight was cancelled and we ended up coming here. The staff were so welcoming in what was a bit of a nightmare . Great room , spacious, comfy bed woke to great views of the sea and pool . Staff on reception in the morning very helpful and breakfast was great

Spent 11 nights at this hotel! Welcomed on arrival, very professional and warmly welcomed! Was given 2 key cards, which suited my hubby and I as we don't need to be restricted! Our hotel room is on 3rd floor room seaview deluxe! Accommodation is very clean and tastefully decorated! The beds are very comfortable! Balcony beautiful with direct view of the sunset glistening over the sea every evening! Maid cleaned our room exceptionally every day, fresh clean towels too! Room had a lovely scent after every clean! Hotel decor is very traditional moroccan and disabled friendly with 2 lifts and ramps! Breakfast every day, all fresh and beautifully presented, it is the traditional fayre of their country too! There's plenty to eat so you won't go hungry! Breakfast staff are very professional, especially the male waiter, who was always jolly, helpful, and polite! Pool area very clean and well maintained, gentle relaxing music played while relaxing on a sunbed or at seating area! Overall, the holiday we had here was amazing! Must Try the Hammam and Spa on site as the best spa and massage ever! Downsides to this was the rooftop bar blaring loud music until 1 to 2am, and hotel room patio doors are not sound proof, not good if you choose to have an early night or are up early to catch flight! This can be quickly fixed with earplugs, so make sure you bring some with you! But overall, I couldn't fault this hotel! Very clean, Great decor,great staff!!
