The bar downstairs is very noisy at night. The infrastructure is old, the display pictures are fraudulent, and pictures that are not related to the hotel are placed. The experience is very poor.

Do not believe the photos. The hotel operates on a run down building and the management is interested to make some quick bucks through deceit. In short, the scoundrels are unscrupulous. Normally you will find hotels like these in third world countries. I am surprised that none of the regulatory/supervisory authority of the SA Govt has flagged this property for unsafe lifts (they dont move unless the button is painfully pressed or banged!) and dirty rooms. There is no onsite parking. One has to shell out $25/day at a nearby Wilsons Parking. So calculate and decide if it is worth the trouble.

Great location and friendly staff, but it's way too dirty. I didn't even want to put my luggage on the floor and I avoided using the air conditioning because it's full of mold. Additionally, it's very loud at night.

Located in a very convenient spot, and staff are very friendly and helpful, however the rooms are not sound proof and gets really noisy from the restaurants and bars on the street. And the building is really old. Shower and bathroom are really small. And some of the other guests sometimes disturbs by randomly knocking on the door.

Checked in to put first room and found a lot of hair in the bed, the sheets didn't seem clean at all. The staff were really helpful and moved us into a different room which was bigger but unfortunately not any cleaner. The carper was so stained I didn't feel comfortable walking on the floor, we also saw a weird brown splatter dried on the headboard as well as sewing needles. We were booked for two nights but left after checking in, wouldn't recommend staying here.

Rooms needs to be upgraded. Condition of the rooms are very bad. Washroom door lock wasn’t working. Room was very dirty and the AC had lot of fungus in it. I would never recommend anyone to go to this hotel. Totally different from what you see on their website.

Can’t really complain about Cosmo, great location, cheap, and friendly staff!

Great place to sleep if you are coming from the nightclubs without a way home, anyone can walk in at any hour of the night and get up to any floor! The window latches are broken so easy bungee jump The hot water runs out In 5 mins so be quick!!! Had to pay $100 bond in case we damaged the room yet we walked in and there was a cigarette butt on the window seal, a king bed is two singles they placed next to each other.

Very convenient location, but a little noisy because of those clubs downstairs.

I am a regular visitor who is always happy with this Motel. New management have done a marvelous job with the place and continue to do so. I can see this place succeeding well in the near future
